Overview

Enjoy an amazing experience exploring the east bank of Luxor, where you can immerse yourself in the civilization of one of the cities full of very impressive tourist sites in Egypt.

On your excursion from Aswan to Luxor by hot air balloon, you will first enjoy a special visit to the Temple of Karnak. The name of the temple was inspired by an old Egyptian belief that Thebes was the first city built on the primordial mound created by the roaring rivers during the formation of the earth. The god Atum, also known as Ptah, would stand atop the mound at that moment to begin creation. The temple was constructed in this area since it was believed to be its location. The people considered Karnak to be an old observatory and a place of worship where they might communicate with the god Amun personally.

We will next visit the Temple of Luxor, which was established in 1400 BC. In the Temple of Luxor, built during the XVIII and XIX dynasties, Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and his son Khonsu stood as the Theban Trinity. Ramses II and Amenhotep III constructed the temple's open courtyard, two obelisks, and a pylon. They also built the most important structures. King Thutmose III of Thebes also built palaces for visitors to the Holy Trinity of Thebes (1490–1436 BC).

An amazing experience at tourist destinations is the Sound and Light Show. You may discover history by taking in performances of the Sound and Light Show. Itinerary

Your day begins with an unforgettable visit to Luxor Temple, which is a large and complex ancient Egyptian temple located on the eastern bank of the Nile River, created in remembrance of the Theban Trinity, which is made up of the gods Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. The XVIII and XIX dynasties' rulers oversaw the construction of the Luxor temple. The most important structures of the temple are those built by the kings Amenhotep III and Amenhotep II.

After that we headed to the Temple of Karnak, a complex of temples, buildings, and columns, where the expansion and construction continued from the Pharaonic era, specifically the kings of the Middle Kingdom, to the Roman era in Luxor, Egypt, on the eastern shore. The temple was built as a tribute to Amun's celestial triad. The ancient Egyptian concept that Thebes was the first city to be built on the primordial hill that emerged above the seas of chaos at the beginning of the Earth's formation may have contributed to the temple's name. At that time, the god Atum (sometimes the god Ptah) stood on the hill to begin creation. It was believed that the temple's location was on this ground, and the temple was erected on this site for this reason. It was thought that Karnak was both an observatory and a site of worship where the god Amun had direct interactions with the local populace.

After that, we'll show you the Karnak Temple's sound and light show while revealing its historical secrets.  We take you to visit magic where it originated; you'll find it written all around you on the walls, lifting you out of reality in an hour! Then it gently puts you down, and you realize how lucky you were to be there!

You will be escorted back to your Luxor hotel following the shows.
