At the time agreed with your tour operator, one of Cairo Top Tour guides will be waiting for you to take you in a modern and comfortable car from your hotel anywhere in Aswan.
Today we embark on an unforgettable adventure that takes us to the Aga Khan Mausoleum, which sits atop a sandy hill on the west bank of the Nile. As you ascend the hill, you will be mesmerised by the grandeur of the Fatimid architecture, built of polished pink stone, surrounded by silence and calm, as if time has stopped here. From the top, the panoramic view is breathtaking: The Nile glistens in the sun, and the green islands of Aswan are scattered like jewels on the water. It's a rare moment of contemplation where you feel the majesty of the place.
Then we will take you by boat to Kitchener Island, a green jewel embraced by the Nile waters on every side, the island is an international botanical garden that includes hundreds of species of rare plants and huge trees brought from different continents of the world. There you will wander between its stone-paved walkways amidst the shadows of towering palms and tropical bamboo trees, while colourful flowers dance around you and fragrant aromas fill the air, as if you are in a piece of paradise on earth.
Finally, our itinerary culminates with a birdwatching tour amidst the Nile islands. In a traditional felucca sailboat, you glide quietly through the waterways as flocks of rare and migratory birds such as herons and ibises fly overhead, sometimes resting on rocks to give you the perfect photo opportunity. This magnificent scene, with the gurgling water and the sound of sails hugging the wind, fills you with a sense of serenity and harmony with nature.
When your tour of Aswan is over, our tour guide will take you back to the hotel.
