Itinerary

In the morning, and before your flight schedule, you will be met in the lobby of your hotel in Aswan by one of our expert representatives, who will accompany you in a private, air-conditioned car to the Aswan airport so you can catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be assisted by our assistant, who will help you at the airport and take you comfortably to the area of the Pyramids of Giza.

We will embark on our journey from Cairo to the Giza plateau, where you will be impressed by the three massive pyramids, testimony to the grandeur of the ancient Egyptian civilization and the majesty of the ancient Egyptians. Once you arrive at the pyramids area, you will find our expert guide waiting for you, and then we will begin our tour by visiting the Great Pyramid, The largest and oldest of the Giza pyramids, the Pyramid of Cheops, is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.  Built as the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu in the 26th century BC, the pyramid has an original height of 146.5 meters.

We next visit the Pyramid of Khafre, which has a distinctive aspect due to the presence of a portion of the original limestone shell at its summit. The smallest of the three pyramids, the Pyramid of Menkaure, is next on our tour. Its elegance and simplicity define its design.

We will next proceed to one of the trip's highlights, the Sphinx, which is thought to be a representation of King Khafre and combines the head of a man with the body of a lion. One of Egypt's most notable monuments, this enormous statue serves as the pyramids' protector.

Lastly, for a seamless check-in, we will return you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Your second day in Cairo will start with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. After that, we will transfer you in a modern air-conditioned car to the Mediterranean Sea with an Egyptologist guide who will explain everything in detail. Your day trip to Alexandria begins with a visit to the Library of Alexandria. The library has a large collection of around 1.5 million books as of early 2013, selected in Arabic, English, and French, as well as a selection of books in other European languages such as German, Italian, and Spanish and other rare languages such as Creole, Haitian, and Zulu, and the current collection includes donor sources from around the world on a variety of subjects.

After that, we go to where the Catacombs of Kom el-Shokafa are located in the district of Karmouz, in the district of Alexandria West, dating from the second century AD, and are considered to be one of the most important tombs in the city, and the area received its name because of the numerous remains of pottery and mashers that accumulated in this place. The tomb was found on September 28, 1900, the tomb was found by chance, although excavations in this area had already begun in 1892. The importance of the tomb is due to its size, abundance of decorations, and the complexity of its layout, and it constitutes one of the clearest examples of the interweaving of Pharaonic and Roman art in the city and one of the best examples of funerary architecture. 

Then, ww will explore the Pompey Pillar, which is one of the most famous monuments in Alexandria. It was erected on Bab El Sidra Hill between the current Muslim burial area known as the “Tombs of the Columns” and the ancient plateau of Kom El Shokafa. The pillar is about 27 meters long and was erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian in the third century AD. It is the last surviving relic of the Serapeum Temple erected by Emperor Posthumus. The column is one piece, and its total height, including the base, is about 26 meters. 85 meters. 85 meters, and there are two similar sphinxes made of pink granite, dating back to the reign of Ptolemy VI. 

We conclude our excursion with a visit to Qaitbay Castle in the Bahri area, built on the former site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was destroyed in 1307 after the devastating earthquake that struck Alexandria, and Sultan Al-Ashraf Abu Al-Nasr Qaitbay began building this castle in 1468 and completed its construction in 1496.
