In the early evening, we will start the next day on our excursion from Cairo to St. Catherine by preparing to ascend Mount Moses at 10:00 a.m. or earlier, where you will be accompanied by a very experienced local Bedouin guide. This night hike takes us on a unique journey under a starry sky in a magical spiritual experience, accompanied by the majestic silence of the desert and the stillness of the mountains. After climbing some 750 steps on the final stretch of the route, visitors reach the top of the mountain as dawn approaches, witnessing one of the most spectacular sunrises in the world, with the first rays of the sun illuminating the surrounding peaks in an unforgettable spectacle.
Then, descending from the mountain, on the Sinai Peninsula, at the base of Mount Catherine, at the mouth of a ravine, we will travel to St. Catherine's Monastery, an Eastern Orthodox monastery.
