Your journey starts in Sharm El Sheikh in the morning, when our agent will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the airport in a private vehicle so you can catch your flight to Cairo, the capital city that is filled with layers of history, civilisation and luxury.
We will first visit Abdeen Palace, an architectural masterpiece that transports you to the 19th century with all its luxury and royal splendour. As soon as you step inside the palace, you will find yourself in a world of luxury, spacious halls decorated with giant crystal chandeliers, skilfullypainted ceilings, and luxurious furniture that testifies to bygone eras. You will see unique royal artefacts, from rare historical weapons and gifts from kings and presidents of the world totools and utensils that reflect the life of the royal court in every detail. The palace is not just a building but a living testimony to an important period in Egypt's modern history.
Then we will move to the heart of Cairo, where we will explore the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, one of the world's greatest and richest museums, and inside you will be overwhelmed by thousands of artefacts that tell the story of Egypt through the ages. Huge statues of pharaohs, rare papyri, decorated sarcophagi, and stunning royal jewellery. However, the true apex is found in the treasures of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun: the gilded tableware that exhibit unmatched royal taste, the stone-studded throne, and the fabled golden mask. Here you feel like you are travelling back in time to more than 3,000 years ago, where greatness and immortality reign.
We will now conclude our tour at one of the newest and most important museums in Egypt, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation in Fustat. Unlike the Egyptian Museum, which focuses on Pharaonic antiquities, here you will experience the entirety of Egypt's civilisation through the ages: From prehistoric times, through Pharaonic, Greek, Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and modern times. The halls are designed in a modern way, but the most exciting moment is when you enter the Hall of Royal Mummies. A dark and serene atmosphere, with a great technical presentation, makes you walk among Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Amenhotep, and other kings and queens as if you were in a live encounter with history itself.
In the end, after a day full of knowledge and beauty, you return to Sharm El Sheikh with amazing memories and unforgettable photos.
Lunch meal included.
