In the morning, our adventure to Cairo will start from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, where one of our representatives will be waiting to take you to Sharm El Sheikh Airport to board your flight to Cairo, where you will be greeted by one of the Cairo Top Tours team and then your expert guide will take you to visit the following:
Time has not affected the wonder that is the Pyramids of Giza, which have stood towering for thousands of years. There you will stand in awe in front of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Egypt's largest pyramid, and learn about its amazing architectural secrets. Don't miss Khafre's pyramid and the giant Sphinx with its legendary face and body that embodies strength and fortitude. The tour will take you deep into history, where legends and stories are endless.
Then after lunch at a local restaurant, we will head south to Saqqara, the first funerary capital of ancient Egypt, where a completely different world awaits you from the pyramids of Giza, in Saqqara we will be able to explore:
The Step Pyramid of King Djoser: The oldest monumental stone structure in the world, designed by the legendary engineer Imhotep. You will be amazed at the genius of this design that paved the way for the later construction of the pyramids.
The Pyramid of Teti may appear small in comparison to Giza, yet what's truly treasured is inside. Upon entering, you'll see the pyramid texts inscribed on the walls, the oldest religious writings in history, written to secure the king's journey to the afterlife.
Pyramid of Unas: Though crumbling on the outside, its interior walls are filled with sacred inscriptions that inspired the kings of the ancient kingdom. A visit inside will take you to another world of spirituality and funerary beliefs.
Afterward, it's time to relax. We'll take you to the Nile Corniche to enjoy a traditional boat ride that will take you through the timeless waters of the river. From aboard, you'll see Cairo from a different perspective, feeling the fresh Nile breeze, in a moment that combines comfort and natural beauty.
We'll drive you back to Cairo Airport so you can catch your flight to Sharm El Sheikh after an exciting and enjoyable day.
