Today, you will go on a fun trip to see the Giza Pyramids and Saqqara! You will start from the Alexandria Port and visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops. A friendly guide will tell you all about how the pyramid was built and why it was made a long time ago in ancient Egypt.
Then, you will continue your journey to explore the Pyramid of King Mycerinus, the smallest of the three main pyramids, yet rich in history. Next, visit the Valley Temple, where ancient rituals were performed, and admire the iconic Sphinx, the legendary guardian of the pyramids. Finally, enjoy a unique experience by riding a camel across the Giza Plateau, taking in breathtaking views of these ancient wonders.
Your friendly tour guide will take you to see the amazing Great Sphinx, a giant statue that has the body of a lion and the head of a king, showing strength and wisdom. You'll also visit the Valley Temple, a very old place where kings used to get ready for special ceremonies. After that, you can enjoy a tasty lunch at a local restaurant, trying some real Egyptian food. Once you're done eating, your guide will take you to Saqqara, where you'll find the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser. This is the very first pyramid ever made, and you'll get to learn all about its cool history and how it was built.
In Saqqara, you'll get to see a special tomb where important people from ancient Egypt were buried. You'll also go inside the pyramid of Teti, which has a really pretty room where they kept the treasures. At the end of the day, our guide will bring you back to the Alexandria port.
