13-day tour to Cairo, Nile cruise, and the Oases

You will see your first destination after your tour guide meets you at your hotel and starts the way to the Giza pyramids plateau. Secondly, you will see the Valley Temple of the Temple of Mummification, which aims to prepare the dead body of the king before putting it in the pyramid. The temple consists of many rooms for the mummification process, tools that are used in the process, oils, and the perfumes needed for mummification.

Our next destination will be Muftella temple, which is one of the multi-age temples in Egypt that has witnessed the Roman and Ptolemaic ages. When you see its walls, you will find the names of the modern dynasties’ kings written on them. This temple's existence reflects how important the Bahariya oasis is as a religious centre inside the desert. 

It's time to have some rest and to take your meal from the local cuisine of the oasis to be ready for the next adventure. The well is characterized and distinctive by its warm water, which is rich with sulfur and natural minerals for the health of the skin and bones.  In the Farfra oasis, you will see the unique Museum of Mud bricks, which is a simple and unique icon made in the simple traditional Egyptian style from very natural components and natural mud bricks made by the artist himself. 

Furthermore, your way will take almost 3 hours by car to reach Dakhla Oasis, and your first stop in Dakhla oasis will be the old town of El Qasr. It’s a full country built upon the ancient style with mud bricks, palm parts, and wooden pieces. Now, it’s time to see the masterpiece of the heart of the Western Egyptian Desert of Deir El Hagar Temple, which reflects how deeply the influence of Egyptian civilization reached the desert heart. Finally, enjoy taking your lunch and visiting the old Islamic village of El Qasr, where you will see the very narrow streets and corridors covered with wood pieces made in a special way called Barrels to keep the place warm weather and avoid the strong sun rays of the desert.

 In addition, you will see the traditional houses of Mud bricks and mosques still used today for praying. You will also see the ruins of castles and shelters reflecting the administrative importance of the village and how it was an integral. At the end of the tour, you will spend your night at the village and Dakhla oasis in one of the eco-lodges to rest and get ready for your next adventure. 

After your good morning in the western desert of Egypt, be ready to explore a new oasis of the Egyptian oases of Kharaga oasis: It is one of the main oases and famous in Egypt for its importance as an administrative area. It’s a large oasis to be compared with the rest of the Egyptian oasis due to its space and the huge number of its citizens and inhabitants. 

Your first visit in Kharga oasis will be the palace of Labkha or Qasr El Labkha: It was one of the important points for the military Roman affairs to monitor the Trade caravans’ way to commercial affairs between Egypt and the surrounding countries. It has contributed to secure the trading, traders and their goods by a group of Roman forts and soldiers.  You will also have a nice opportunity to pass by two authentic and beautiful temples from outside of Hipis temple and Nadoura temple. 

Besides, it is time to see one of the early Christian tombs of Bagawat tombs which dates back to the early Christians in Egypt that have lived in Egypt before the age of spreading churches and monasteries. The tombs include (Fresco) or inscriptions tells stories from the Holy Bible like the entrance of Noah to the ship to rescue humanity from the flood. Finally, you will see the village of Baris or known as Baris oasis which a very fascinating village inside the Kharge oasis with traditional Egyptian style. The high dam is producing electricity that is needed for the life in Egypt. The soviet unions had supported the Egyptian government to cooperate and build this massive dam to protect Egypt from the flood’s danger. 

Finally, we will get back to our Nile cruise to enjoy the final night of the Egypt Nile cruise tour.
