At 07:00 AM, you will be picked up from your Cairo hotel in a private and air-conditioned vehicle. From there, you have a beautiful, roughly 90-minute drive east on the Cairo-Sokhna desert highway up to Dome Marina right in front of Porto Sokhna. The boat is fully furnished for the half-hour journey to the famed coral reefs of Jabal el Sakka, a home of colorful aquatic life and magnificent coral formations, and occasionally playful dolphins.
Two snorkeling sessions are allowed; all in all, around 3 hours of water time, with supervision from trained professionals guaranteeing your safety and ensuring you have the time of your life. Post-exploration, all basking students head sunward with grueling bounty, which includes a buffet-style lunch of fresh salad, rice or pasta, chicken, and Egyptian kofta, rounded off with soft drinks and water.
Just before the cruise returns to the marina, there is still time for a few more dips in the sea, or for some relaxation aboard. Your guide will then accompany you back to Cairo by late afternoon, retaining the reminiscence of the pristine Red Sea and its rich marine ecosystem forever.
