When you arrive in Luxor, whether by plane or train, our representative will be waiting to take you into the Nile cruise before you begin your great trip in Upper Egypt, where your tour guide will take you to visit East Luxor.
The great trip starts with Karnak Temple which is one of the most significant religious complexes concerning the ancient Egyptians. This huge temple is filled with numerous marvelous monuments such as the Great Hypostyle Hall, which has 134 columns and is the most famous and largest in the world.
It also has many columns that lead you to this large hall. These large columns were built during the reign of Amenhotep, and many kings of the modern state, like Ramses, Hatshepsut, and other great kings, added to the construction of this temple until the Roman and Greek eras.
After this amazing visit, you will go into another of Luxor's magnificent temples, the temple that bears the name of the city and is considered one of the most important temples in Egypt in terms of historical significance and tourist attraction.
The most striking elements of the temple are the great pylon constructed by Ramses II and flanked by two huge obelisks (one of them was taken to Paris), the vast columned court, and the Avenue of the Rams, which linked the temple with Karnak and measured approximately 3 kilometers in length. The inscriptions and decorations in the temple also stand out as the one that captures some of the historical and religious events in history.
