Your tour starts by visiting the necropolis of Saqqara, which contains the first monumental stone building in the history of Egypt, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. It was constructed in the 3rd Dynasty, and the pyramid is regarded as the prototype of all other pyramids and the architectural genius of Imhotep, who was the royal architect, priest, and philosopher, and who was later deified by the Egyptians.
Visit the huge complex and admire the pioneer design of the Step Pyramid. You will also visit the tombs of the nobles, such as the highly designed tomb of Kagemni, the son-in-law of the king Teti. Then enter the Pyramid of Teti itself to see the old burial chamber and some of the first pyramid writings—inspirations or spiritual incantations carved on the walls.
During the tour, your guide will bring the ancient history of Egypt to life and will make it interesting to open up the secrets of the early beliefs, rituals, and societal structure in the Old Kingdom.
Visit the ruins of Memphis, then capital of the Old Kingdom, then metropolis of commerce, policy, and religion. Though Memphis is buried in the sands, leaving only a small part, it is an outdoor museum that has a magnificent range of artifacts representing different periods.
The most noteworthy are the gigantic statue of Ramses II, a princely piece of pharaonic sculpture, and the mysterious alabaster Sphinx of Memphis, which used to protect the temple of the god of the creation, Ptah.
This will be the best place you are going to visit in Giza after you complete your tour in Saqqara and Memphis.
No Egypt tour is complete at all without having a visit to the timeless wonders of Giza. Make your visit to the plateau by enjoying the above three magnificent pyramids constructed under the 4th Dynasty and named after Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mycerinus). In front of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the tallest man-made building in the world, which took thousands of years to build in precision and size, stand in awe, gasping in wonder.
On the panoramic expanse, you get panoramas of the pyramids over the desert background. Get a feel for adventure and be given an optional camel ride over the sands, taking breathtaking photos of the historic terrain.
Go down to the foot of the plateau to pay a visit to the Great Sphinx, the enigmatic limestone monster that has the body of a lion and the face of a man, who is supposed to be Pharaoh Khafre. Then your guide will take you to the Valley Temple, which is also the funerary complex, and narrate to you about the sacred act of mummifying in ancient Egypt.
After finishing breakfast at the hotel and meeting your tour guide, you will begin your visits in Cairo, where you’ll explore sites representing different religions and eras—Pharaonic, Islamic, and Christian.
Start your day at one of the world's most prestigious museums, such as the Egyptian Museum, home to over 120,000 artifacts from the treasures of ancient Egyptian civilization. Among the highlights are the treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his famous golden mask, massive statues, royal mummies of pharaohs such as Akhenaten and Ramses II, along with papyri, sarcophagi, exquisite jewelry, and countless fascinating items.
Next, you’ll visit the Citadel of Salah al-Din, built in the 12th century by the Muslim leader Salah al-Din Al-Ayyubi, which served as the seat of power in Egypt for centuries. Inside the Citadel, you'll have the opportunity to explore the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, with its grand Ottoman-style architecture and impressive dome. You can also enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Cairo from the Citadel's high ground and visit the Police Museum or other museums located within the complex.
After these visits, you’ll head to one of the best local restaurants in Cairo for lunch.
To end the day, you'll take a walking tour through Coptic Cairo, a place where religious and cultural history converge. There, you’ll see the iconic Hanging Church, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Egypt, built atop a Roman fortress. You’ll also visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of the most important historic Jewish landmarks in Egypt, as well as other significant churches such as Saint George Church and Saint Sergius and Bacchus Church. The area also includes the Coptic Museum, located in the heart of Coptic Cairo, showcasing beautiful examples of Coptic art and history.
This day is different, where you can spend the day free to rest after the two tours in Cairo and Giza or try our wonderful optional tour in Alexandria, where you will visit a lot of wonderful places.
Where in Alexandria, you can go to the beach to relax and go to visit the wonderful and dazzling Greco-Roman places such as the Sawari Column, which is considered one of the most important monuments that can be seen in Alexandria today, where it is called Diocletian's Column (late 290 AD), which is mistakenly known as the Pompey Pillar, as it is located directly next to the site of the Serapeum, the main temple of Serapis, the official idol during this period, and is a witness to the struggle of Alexander's army commanders over his two empires.
Then after that you can visit Kom el-Shaghafa, which is a cemetery in Alexandria dating back to the Roman era and is located in the Karmouz neighbourhood west of Alexandria, and it was given this name in honour of the ancient Greek name "Logos Keramikos," and Kom el-Shaghafa is located in the area where the village of Rakotis was established, which is the name by which it was known to the Romans, in honour of the ancient pharaonic name ra-gadit as mentioned in a hieroglyphic inscription from the era of Ptolemy I.
After completing this wonderful tour, you will return to your hotel in Cairo and spend the night there before flying out of Egypt.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to the airport; your tour leader will guide you in the boarding process so that you can take a flight to go back home.
Moreover, we hope you had the best time during your lowest-price tour in Cairo for 5 days.

In person, at the Egyptian embassy in your country (if you have one). However, this option is not available in all embassies, so we recommend you to consult this option with the embassy of your country, if this is the modality you wish to follow to obtain your visa to Egypt or you can buy it from any tourist agency in Egypt but in this case it will cost a lot of money.
