After breakfast at the hotel, an air-conditioned car will take you from the hotel to Alexandria to spend a pleasant day visiting many wonderful tourist attractions that will impress you and make you want to visit Alexandria every time you are in Egypt.

Visits today will start by visiting the Katakomb of Kom Shafaqa area, which is located in the southern part of Alexandria, and it is regarded as one of the most crucial archaeological tombs in the area.

The name Shafaqa comes from the Arabic word for the remains of pottery shards that were found in abundance. What distinguishes Com Shafaqa is the decorations and the wonderful layout of the tombs

Then you will head to the Obelisk, one of the most famous archaeological landmarks in Alexandria. Its area is considered the birthplace of Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt, and it was the main building and temple of the god Serapis, who was worshipped in both Greece and Rome.

The temple was built in the Greek style, but over time, all of the columns collapsed, leaving only one standing. 

After that, you will go to the castle, which is considered one of the most important and largest archaeological sites in Alexandria. Throughout the ages, this castle has been an impregnable fortress against external threats coming from the Mediterranean Sea. The castle is characterized by its high walls, which make it a place of defense and attack. One of the examples of the opponents that assaulted Egypt includes the Ottoman Empire, which was the primary factor that led to the erection of this castle by Qaitbay, making it one of the most significant military defense facilities on the Mediterranean coast. 

After enjoying some delicious seafood in Alexandria, you will head to the last stop of the day, the magnificent Library of Alexandria, which is filled with many books on various subjects. It was famous for being one of the most important scientific centers in the Ptolemaic era, but after it burned down, the new library was built, which is now one of the most attractive tourist places in all whole Egypt. 

After having breakfast early in the morning, you will meet your tour guide, who will take you on a wonderful trip to one of Egypt's coastal cities.

On your way to Marsa Matrouh, you will stop in the city of El Alamein to visit one of the open museums that houses many wonderful artifacts dating back to World War II.

When you go into the World War Museum, you'll see a bunch of military stuff from World War II. The countries that fought in the war agreed to build this museum, and it opened during Gamal Abdel Nasser's time.

There are also many cemeteries belonging to soldiers who died in the war, like the Italian and German cemeteries, which were previously one cemetery until Germany requested that its cemetery be separated from the Italian cemetery. There is also a church, a mosque, and many other impressive things there.

After visiting this wonderful museum, you will go into the city of Matrouh to have lunch at one of the fish restaurants, where you will enjoy a delicious seafood meal on the Mediterranean coast before heading into the Siwa Oasis in the evening to spend the night there.

After waking up early in the morning, your tour guide will take you on the first day of your trip to Siwa, where you will explore the desert and many impressive natural sites that attract tourists from around the world.

Your visits will begin at Shali Fortress, which has a history dating back to the Roman Empire, when it was founded by the people of Siwa to protect themselves from neighbouring tribes. This area was rich in water and food, making it coveted by all, but this fortress served as a stronghold against all these tribes.

Then you will head into the Temple of Prophecy of Alexander the Great, but he did not build it, as it is one of the important Pharaonic temples in Egypt, founded by Ahmos II. The word “miracle” comes from the fact that the sun was perpendicular to it twice a year, once at the autumn equinox and once at the spring equinox.

This temple also has an important history and stories, as Cambyses' army was lost there. They were sent to destroy it, but failed. This temple has another name, the Temple of Amun, which indicates that it was built to commemorate this great Egyptian god.

At sunset, you will go to Cleopatra's Bath to relax a little, and you can also swim there while drinking some wonderful hot drinks. Finally, you will move on to Fortuna Island, which is considered one of the most beautiful islands in Egypt.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will go with your tour guide into the second day of the marvelous Siwa Oasis, where you will visit various fascinating places. 

You will enter the Mountain of the Dead, in which are many tombs that were accidentally found by the people of Siwa.

They discovered them while trying to hide during World War II, thinking it was caves inside the mountain, but were shocked to find that it had a group of Pharaonic tombs containing mummies of ancient Egyptians. 

You will revisit the hotel to board another 4x4 vehicle to commence your Great Sand Sea Tour. You will drive towards one of the most interesting locations in the Great Sand Sea, which is beautiful because of the phenomena that move the sand like waves of the sea.

Then, get psyched on the sandboarding escapade, which isn't as quick as snowboarding, but with the proper orientation, you could slide down some of the great dunes in the great sand sea and have fun at Siwa Oasis.
