Amoura Dahabiya Nile Cruise

Then you will visit the temple of Hor Moheb, a rock-cut temple on the west bank of the Nile River, not far away from Edfu city. This construction was made in the late days of the New Kingdom during the reign of one of the pharaohs, Hor Moheb, the king of the Eighteenth Dynasty.

Then you'll return to the Nile Cruise for lunch and then dinner at night before the next trip to Kom Ombo.

Before you reach Aswan, you first pass through the Kom Ombo area to see the marvellous temple there before sunset. Even before you go to the great city of Aswan in Upper Egypt, the city of Kom Ombo is known for many crops, like the sugarcane crop, where two-thirds of the agricultural land area is occupied with this crop throughout the year, and the cane is collected and enters the factory to manufacture it for sugar in the winter or manufacturing season, and there is fruit cultivation like mangoes and lemons.

In the Kom Ombo temple, the column heads there were characterized by being designed in the ancient Egyptian style, but some of them were for the kings of Ptolemais and some were for the pharaohs, such as the heads of Hathor and Lotus, but these heads did not appear to be complete until the era of the New Kingdom, especially in the Thirtieth Dynasty. 

Once you are done touring the great Kom Ombo Temple, you will visit Upper Egypt, particularly Aswan, which is one of the most beautiful cities in Egypt.

Your visits will begin with the Philae Temple, which was established during the Ptolemaic era and dedicated to the worship of the goddess Isis, wife of the god Osiris. Isis played an important role in ancient Egyptian religion, as she was associated with love, healing, motherhood, and rebirth, and this is the most important temple that immortalizes her worship among the ancient Egyptians and its impact on other countries in the ancient world, as the temple remained active as a religious centre until the late Roman times and was even used as a place of worship until the sixth century AD, making it one of the last pagan Egyptian temples to be used.

After that, we go to the High Dam, which was and still is one of the most magnificent buildings in the modern era, as the dam had several goals, namely controlling the annual flood of the Nile River, which threatened agriculture and population. It also stores water for use throughout the year in agriculture and industry, in addition to generating electricity through a huge hydroelectric plant.

Then back to the Nile Cruise to take two lunches and then dinner at night.
