You will be transferred from Aswan to Luxor in a modern air-conditioned private car to start your visit to the Valley of the Kings. When you see the walls of the Valley of the Kings tombs in Luxor, you'll be amazed at their magnificence.
In addition to graphic magic inscriptions resembling those discovered in tombs, such as Tutankhamun's, the walls are painted with scenarios that show the deceased king in the presence of the gods, particularly the underworld gods. You may reserve the Tutankhamun ticket with us because it is not part of the Valley of the Kings ticket.
After that, we move on to visit Deir el-Bahari. During the Ptolemaic dynasty, the Deir el-Bahri temple was visited for therapeutic purposes. Ptolemy III built a shrine dedicated to the god Asclepius, the god of healing. This was followed by the construction of shrines dedicated to other gods of healing, including Imhotep and Amenhotep, son of Hapu. The temple of Thutmose III at the site may not have been a funerary temple for him.
After lunch, we move to the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank of Luxor. The two statues depict King Amenhotep III, sitting on a throne with a low armrest, his hands on his feet, and above him the royal crown... To the right of his feet is a small statue of his wife, Queen Tiye, and to his left is a small statue of his mother, Mutemwia. Before returning to Aswan, take the opportunity to enjoy shopping in Luxor's markets.
