Get ready to receive you in the morning from Aswan hotel to the airport. We will book your domestic flight tickets and upon your arrival in Cairo we will take you from in front of the gate to the Saqqara area.
Upon arriving at Saqqara, you'll be truly amazed by the massive and precise wall surrounding the area, where ancient Egyptians first cut stones. Then, explore the pyramid itself, which, for Djoser, served as a staircase to help him ascend to heaven upon death...Explore some of the tombs you're allowed to visit and discover their magnificent carvings.
After spending enough time in the Saqqara area, we will move to Memphis to discover the open-air museum. It is located in the village of Mit Rahina. This museum includes numerous artifacts, ranging in size and shape from small pieces to very large pieces. They are: a very large statue of King Ramses II standing at the entrance of the museum, a second large statue of the same king lying on the ground, and a small statue of the Sphinx made of alabaster.
After lunch at our restaurant in Saqqara, we will take you to the Egyptian Museum. Discover the most important pieces there, such as the Rosetta Stone and the Narmer Palette, which records the king getting rid of his enemies, in addition to the statue of King Djoser, which was discovered near his pyramid.
