You'll be met at your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle to El Alamein. New Alamein City is the first million-person city on the North Coast and is considered a fourth-generation city. The city resembles the New Administrative Capital in the scale of the global projects it will host, along with some of Egypt's best tourist destinations. These include world-class shopping malls and residential and tourist towers.
You'll start by visiting the El Alamein Museum. Located in the southern part of New El Alamein City, within the historic district, the El Alamein Military Museum houses exhibition halls for military artifacts, battle maps, and some belongings belonging to army commanders. It also houses an open-air courtyard for an open display of a collection of heavy weapons, armored vehicles, and aircraft used in the Battle of El Alamein.
On this tour, you will also visit the Commonwealth Cemetery. Designed by British architect Sir John Hubert Worthington, the Commonwealth Cemetery contains the remains of 7,367 victims from Britain, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, France, India, and Malaysia. The names of 11,945 missing soldiers are inscribed on its walls.
You will return back to Cairo to return to your hotel.
