Itinerary
Our representative and car will welcome you. Then we start our tour with the pyramids of Meidum, so that you can discover the evolution of the pyramids. The construction of the pyramid of Meidum is credited to Huni, the last king of the 3rd Dynasty, even though his tomb has never been located. It is assumed that the pyramid was begun by King Huni in its step form, and his successor Snefru added the revetment. This seems likely.
After enjoying the Meidum area, its pyramid and the history of this area in Egypt, we will take you to Dahshur. The two pyramids of Snefru are located in Dahshur, one to the north and one to the south. The two pyramids are only one kilometer apart. Each pyramid is approximately 105 m high.
The pyramid complex of Dahshur includes:
1. The enclosure wall (discovered in 1952)
2. The Bent Pyramid
3. The satellite pyramid
4. The mortuary temple
5. The rising causeway
6. The Valley Temple
It will transport you to the Pyramid of Khufu and the Giza Pyramids. For the underground chamber, the main entrance leads to a 105 m long descending chamber... This descending passage leads to a horizontal corridor 8.70 m long, and this horizontal corridor opens onto an unfinished underground chamber. From the south wall of the unfinished chamber extends a one-meter-long corridor. This corridor probably provides access to a second chamber behind the first...Remember to get a special ticket to access the pyramid from the inside if you would like to do so.
Khafre's is the best-maintained of the three funerary buildings at Giza. It includes the Valley Temple and the Mortuary Temple; the two temples were connected by a long rising causeway, the satellite pyramid, and the pyramid, watch all this and more with us. Continue your journey to the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Sphinx. The car that will transport you for the day will finally drop you off at your hotel.
