Itinerary

You will be picked up early in the morning to take you to Siwa from your hotel, the train station, or the airport.  For you to stretch your legs, get a food, or have a drink, our driver will stop many times.. To provide you the knowledge you need, your guide will be accompanying you. We'll make an excursion at El Alamein to see a few places, including the Military Museum. It was opened in 1965 and was redeveloped in coordination with the countries that participated in the war.. A hall was created to illustrate Egypt's military role during historical periods, especially during World War II. On the 50th anniversary of the Battle of El Alamein in 1992, the museum reopened following renovations.

Discover the El Alamein Cemeteries. There are three primary burial sites in the cemetery. The first, for Commonwealth victims, was designed by British engineer Sir John Hubert Worthington and was opened in the presence of Allied commander Bernard Montgomery. The second, the Italian cemetery, was designed by Italian engineer Paolo Caccia Dominioni and was opened in the presence of Italian Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani on January 9, 1959. It contains the remains of 4,634 Italian soldiers, in addition to a memorial plaque noting the 38,000 missing. Lastly, the German cemetery conceived as a castle perched on a hill by German engineer Robert Tesgler was opened in October 1959, containing the remains of 4,280 soldiers, 80 of whom are unidentified in a separate chamber.

We will go to Marsa Matruh to eat fish and have a quick look at the beaches, then we will move to Siwa to watch the sunset at Fatnas Island before going to your hotel.

Today we will move to the old town of Shali for a beautiful panoramic view and to see all of Siwa. Your guide will explain why Shali was built and how the people of this area lived inside the small rooms. The Shali fortress, built on a high hill, is surrounded by a tall wall with a main entrance called "Bab Inshal" in the Amazigh language spoken by the people of Siwa, which means "City Gate". There is also the old mosque, one of the oldest mosques in North Africa.. Prayers are being performed within the mosque, which was reopened following repair work as part of the Shali rehabilitation project in December 2015.

During your tour, learn some Siwan words spoken only in Siwa, in addition to their customs and traditions, their wedding celebration clothes, what a woman wears after marriage, and how she looks.
As you leave Shali city to go to the Temple of the Oracle, you will see the most important houses that attracted foreigners and developed them, but preserved the environmental and Siwan heritage.

The Temple of Amun, inhabited by the highest priests and frequently visited by kings, consists of three parts: the main temple, the governor's palace, and the guards' wing. It has many annexes, including the "sacred well," where the feet were washed and purified to consult the oracle.

You will visit the Siwi House Museum to see the most important Siwi possessions, including their clothes, jewelry, and important musical instruments.

After that, we visit the Mountain of the Dead. You can't visit Siwa without visiting the Mountain of the Dead, to witness a scene that blends life and death simultaneously. From the top of the mountain, you can witness the green color of the palm trees, and inside the mountain, you find those tombs bearing drawings dating back thousands of years. The human journey between life and death is therefore embodied by the Mountain of the Dead.

This is the time to relax. Relax in Cleopatra's Spring and bring your swimsuit to enjoy the natural spring that rejuvenates itself, in addition to its therapeutic properties. We'll head back to the hotel at the conclusion of the day.. Meals: breakfast and lunch.

Get ready after tasting a delicious breakfast at your hotel, a breakfast consisting of the most famous Egyptian dishes, then we will go in a 4 by 4 car that will take you from in front of your hotel that head to the desert outside Siwa, until they reach the "Great Sand Sea." They start by filming in one location, then head to another, to ski on the sand from high altitudes, using wooden boards to enjoy one of the most enjoyable tours in Siwa.

The cars will make their way at suitable speeds, amidst the sand dunes, up and down, in a cheerful atmosphere, during which you will breathe in pure oxygen amidst the sand sea, and savor the tranquility of your spirit before proceeding to the "Bir Wahed" region to have a dip in the chilly lake and adjacent hot spring, as you will be served plain Siwi tea “zarda” and hibiscus, on firewood amidst the sand sea, and you will enjoy the sunset scene.

At sunset, we head to one of the camps for dinner, enjoying Siwan food and Siwan folk songs, with an evening in the sand beach (optional trip). After enjoying this fun day, our driver will take you back to your hotel.

On the last day of our trip, after enjoying interesting tours in Siwa, as Siwa is considered one of the world's tourist cities, as it has a variety of tourism, between safari tourism, archaeological tourism, environmental tourism, festival tourism, entertainment tourism and medical tourism. After your visits during several days, the archaeological castle of "Shali" or "Old Siwa", Cleopatra's Spring, the Well of the Oasis, the Sea of ​​Sands, the Temple of Amun, the Coronation Hall of Alexander the Great, and the Mountain of the Dead, you will be transferred to Cairo again.
