You will arrive in Fayoum, where we will transfer you to Fayoum City in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, the tour will begin with a visit to the Kom Oshim Museum.
Ancient statues exuding the scent of ancient Egyptian civilization and the greatness of our ancestors' history, as well as distinctive artworks dating back thousands of years, telling different stories and legends... housed within a one-of-a-kind museum tucked away in the Kom Oshim region on the Cairo-Fayoum desert route.
After you're done with the Fayoum Museum, we'll visit the city of Karanis. The ruins of a complete ancient city, with a royal street in the middle, include a self-contained neighborhood housing a bakery, a mill, and a granary. It also includes two Roman-era baths, two temples, one in the north and the other in the south, a cemetery, as well as grape presses and grain mills. Learn about this city with our guide.
When you're done seeing the Fayoum Museum, we'll head to Karanis. A wonder of the ages, the Pyramid of Hawara in Fayoum has stood firm for thousands of years, its mysteries baffling many archaeologists, especially since it is the first pyramid in Egypt to contain two royal mummies, in addition to containing complex passages underneath it that make it difficult to reach the burial chamber, which had no door.
Lake Qarun has been in use since the reign of the ancient Egyptians, as the ruling dynasties took care of it and worked to maintain and purify it.
Enjoy the waterfalls and Wadi El Rayan area, as the area includes eco-tourism activities, such as boating, sand skiing, and watching migratory birds, which number 173 species in the area, in addition to other activities.
