Itinerary
Our company offers you a special offer because its goal is your comfort. It will transport you from in front of your hotel in Hurghada to catch your flight, for which we will provide you with domestic flight tickets. Upon your arrival, we will receive you to visit Saqqara.
Saqqara also has tombs from the Middle Kingdom (c. 2055-1650 BC), New Kingdom, and First Intermediate Period (c. 2181-2055 BC). (around 1550–1069) Compared to their Upper Egyptian counterparts in Thebes, the tombs of the New Kingdom exhibit an entirely distinct architectural style. The tomb of Horemheb (c. 1323–1295 BC), the non-royal person who rose to become king, is one of them. However, he was never buried here because, after taking the throne, he constructed a new tomb in the Valley of the Kings that was appropriate for his position as a king.
Then we move to Memphis after Saqqara, the capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt and the Archaic era. However, it remained the most populous city in Egypt throughout the ancient Egyptian history, even when Thebes was the prominent capital during the New Kingdom, It was founded by the first king of the First Dynasty. Mina or Narmer. It's ancient Egyptian name was Inb-HD, which means 'white wall'. Later on, it was called Mn nfr which means the 'beautiful monument or' established and beautiful, after the name of the pyramid of King Pepi I (of the 6th Dynasty). Nowadays, it's known as the village of Mit Rahina in the Giza governorate and it is characterized by the presence of an open air museum.
Then we move to the Egyptian Museum area in Tahrir to visit the most important artifacts, such as the original statue of Djoser, which is now replica by Jean Philippe, the French archaeologist, and other statues and artifacts that were discovered throughout the dynasties.
Finally, we will transfer you to Hurghada by plane and upon your arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Hurghada.
