Trip to the most famous pyramids in Egypt from Luxor

Overview

The pyramids are dispersed from Abu Rawash in Giza to Hawara in the outskirts of Fayoum.  The ancient Egyptians constructed these regal buildings between 2630 and 1530 BC.  Its construction progressed from a step pyramid, such as the one at Djoser (3630 BC–2611 BC) at Saqqara, to a bent pyramid, and finally to the whole pyramid shape known as the Pyramids of Giza.  In addition to protecting his mother, the pyramids were constructed to enable the pharaoh to ascend to heaven and then proceed to the afterlife.

In order to ensure his burial, King Khufu constructed the Great Pyramid.. King Khufu built the Great Pyramid to bury him.  The king's spirit, according to the ancient Egyptians, ascended to heaven to join the other gods and remained to watch over them after death.  He could then care for the life on earth by sending the Nile river, giving development and wealth, and safeguarding them from wickedness.

Thus, we provide a travel package visiting the pyramids of Giza, Lahun, and Meidum. The most notable landmark in ancient Egypt's history is the pyramids. It is the destination of every lover of Egyptology. The greatness of the pyramid never ends here, with the Old Kingdom witnessing the construction of the three pyramids of Giza (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure), incorporated in the Seven Wonders of the World. Rather, this rare architectural form extended towards the Middle Kingdom.

Itinerary

In order for you to board your flight to Cairo International Airport and start your fascinating journey, we will take you to Luxor Airport.  Our staff puts a lot of effort into making sure you're satisfied.  Our first destination will be Saqqara, the oldest enormous stone structure in Egypt.

He was supposed to be the first or second Pharaoh of the Third Dynasty, Djoser (c. 2670-2650 BC), during Old Kingdom times (c. 2686-2125 BC). He may have ruled for a term of 19 years or, counting the 19 years as the biennial tax years, for 38.

After learning about the construction of the pyramid, its purpose and the stages of its construction, the Dahshur Pyramids were subsequently modified. The second step in construction was to change the pyramid's shape from a stepped pyramid to a pyramid-shaped one. Amenemhat II, Senusret III, and Amenemhat III were among the Twelfth Dynasty rulers who constructed their pyramids there during the Middle Kingdom.  This is where several Middle Kingdom princesses' priceless jewels has been discovered.  Egypt's first full pyramid, the northern pyramid of King Sneferu, founder of the Fourth Dynasty, was born in Dahshur, a necropolis 11 km south of Saqqara.

You will see the pyramids of Giza after lunch.  Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure ruled during the whole period when the Pyramids of Giza were being constructed.  Due to a lack of historical documents, historians mostly think that the history of the Fourth and Sixth Dynasties was "written in stone" both literally and architecturally. This is because the monuments and their inscriptions allowed historians to recreate the history of this period. The pyramids provide very few hints as to when and how they were built, but the funerary temples that were built next to them and the steles that accompanied them tell us the kings' names and other salient information.Enjoy your overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.

Before visiting the Lahun Pyramid in the morning, have breakfast.  The 19th century BC saw the construction of the Lahun Pyramid.  An English archaeologist made the first discovery and entry after discovering a golden cobra on the royal crown and an offering table.  After a repair and development effort that included the removal of rubble, the pyramid was closed and reopened as an archaeological site.  The earliest pyramid to provide entrance to Senusret II's burial chamber was this one.

We then move from Fayoum to Beni Suef to discover the Meidum Pyramid. The Meidum Pyramid: King Sneferu began the first and second phases of building the Meidum Pyramid, leaving it as a stepped pyramid of eight steps. Then work stopped and he headed to Dahshur to build two pyramids, the first is the Broken Pyramid, and the second is the Red Pyramid. Then he returned in the fifteenth year to complete the Meidum Pyramid to make it a complete pyramid. He began the third phase of construction, but for some reason, work on it was not completed.

Enjoy your lunch and get ready for your transfer to the airport.

Travelers have the opportunity to navigate the world's longest river in one of these traditional single-sailed boats, much like Egyptian pharaohs did. These open-decked boats haven't altered much since the ancient Egyptians crossed the Nile, despite the fact that many of them are no longer constructed of wood. As you cruise from Aswn to Kom Ombo, it's an immensely relaxing way to take in the sights and enjoy a night under the stars.
