Your Alexandria day tour from Cairo includes the Greco-Roman Catacombs of Kom El Shouqafa and the ruins of the Roman temple complex. After that, visit Pompey's Pillar. Pompey's Pillar is an ancient monument located in Alexandria, Egypt. It's a massive Roman triumphal column, made of red granite, standing around 28 meters (92 feet) tall.

Founded during the reign of Ptolemy II Philadelphus (around 283–246 BCE), it was part of the Musaeum of Alexandria. 

Then, you will have your lunch at a fresh, high-quality seafood restaurant. Finally, you will be heading to your hotel in Alexandria for the night.

Once you finish exploring the Grand Egyptian Museum, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch in a good-quality restaurant. After that, board the train to Aswan, where you will spend the night on board.
