To begin your journey to Cairo, a representative from Cairo Top Tour will meet you at Sokhna Port. Our first stop will be the Necropolis region, where you may visit the three Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Mankaura. During your stay, you will also be able to ride a camel and discover more about this interesting region. The shore excursion to the Giza Pyramids from Sokhna Port is one of Egypt's most popular tours.
The Pyramid of Khufu, popularly known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, is the largest of the three, standing at 146.5 meters tall. This structure, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is a must-see for anybody visiting Egypt.
After leaving Giza, we will go immediately to downtown Cairo to see the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. We'll also make a brief stop for lunch at a neighbourhood restaurant.
The tour will end with a visit to Old Cairo, which includes both Coptic and Islamic parts. This section of the journey will take you to important locations like the Salah el-Din Citadel, Al-Azhar Mosque, and Khan el-Khalili.
After one of Sokhna's best shore excursions, we will drop you off at Sokhna Port at the end of the day.
