Itinerary
You will have an early breakfast for a memorable day, departing from the Cairo hotels, where you will start your once-in-a-lifetime tour. Starting from the hotel in the morning, you will take a transfer service to the bus station, followed by a four-hour comfortable air-conditioned bus trip to Bahariya Oasis.
You will meet the Bedouin driver and guide, who will take you to visit the main attractions at the Valley of the Golden Mummies. You will explore the Royal Mummies, which have been well preserved. You will drive on to the Tombs of the Nobles and get an introduction to the history of the ancient Oasis rulers. The tombs include those of Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh, Bannentiu, and several communal burial tombs that were used later on. You will also pay a visit to the Temple of Alexander the Great, the famous Greek ruler who visited Bahariya on his way to Siwa. Visit the Temple of Ain El Meftella, which dates back to the 26th dynasty of Egypt and includes four ancient chapels.
Enjoy an authentic lunch experience at a Bedouin family’s home and head towards the White Desert. Along the way, visit the Valley of El Haize, the ruins of a Roman fortress, and see the shining quartz of Crystal Mountain and the beautiful Valley of Agabat, among many stunning views. In the evening, set up camp in the White Desert and enjoy the sunset over the white sands while the guides prepare dinner.

Following a traditional Bedouin-style desert breakfast, drive out to the hot springs. The White Desert is stunning, with white limestone formations rising from the sand in shapes like mushrooms and other natural forms.
On the way back to Cairo, pass through the green areas of Bahariya Oasis and the unique Black Desert, where mountains are covered with ancient black volcanic rocks.
Explore the Salt Lake, then head to the bus station, where your Bedouin guide will help you back to your hotel in Cairo.
