We'll embark on a journey of about 370 km from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis, which consists of several villages, including Bawiti Village. Our first stop will be the Valley of the Golden Mummies, where you'll discover how ancient Egyptian kings ruled and lived in these oases thousands of years ago.
The mummies here demonstrate the extensive use of mummification during the Greco-Roman period, not just in the Pharaonic era. We will also visit the tombs of the nobles in Bahariya Oasis and the Temple of Alexander the Great, who founded the city of Alexandria and was welcomed by the Egyptians after the long period of persecution and abuse of their religion and temples by the Persians.
After enjoying a local lunch, we’ll continue our tour. Following a visit to the Black Desert, we'll drive through the Valley of El Haize, the southernmost village of Bahariya, known for its refreshing spring. Next, we'll visit Crystal Mountain, where crystals gleam like stars in the sky, and then proceed to the stunning Valley of Agabat, featuring unique gray rocks covered in creamy white sand, shaped by the region's sandstorms. Finally, you'll end the day in the desert, enjoying lunch and a breathtaking sunset view.
