Upon your arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be greeted and assisted by our Cairo Top Tours representative. Afterward, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Muscat.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Next, you'll embark on a half-day city tour of Muscat. The tour includes a visit to the Grand Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, an architectural gem, and the Bait Al Zubair Museum, which exhibits Omani heritage through an extensive collection of antiques, traditional Omani jewelry, costumes, weapons, domestic utensils, and recreated urban and rural settings.
The tour continues through old Muscat, surrounded by rugged mountains and guarded by the twin 16th-century forts of Jalali and Mirani, to the Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. You'll also visit Muttrah, the main port area.
Meals: Breakfast.
Start your morning with breakfast before driving south to the 8,000 square kilometers of sand that make up Wahiba Sands—a mesmerizing desert that appears to be in constant motion. Walking through the dunes is a must. Experience an exciting 4x4 ride through the dunes and enjoy a camel ride.
Next, visit a local Bedouin family in their home to gain an intimate insight into their lifestyle and share coffee and dates with the authentic Bedouin. A short drive from the desert brings you to Wadi Bani Khalid, a lush valley. Enjoy a refreshing swim in its cool waters. Return to Muscat for an overnight stay.

Have breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will be taken to the airport in time for your departure flight back.
