We have been told that the Nile view of these temples is second to none. So we'll begin by the immense Karnak temple, where you can marvel at historical remnants and gain insight into the temple's past. Some time can be spent taking a walk through the village, keeping a watch over Thebes, or the temple complex, Karnak Open Air Museum.
Proceed next to Luxor temple, one of the most renowned monuments of Egypt. This temple was built during the New Kingdom(1539-1075 BC). This temple was used as a place of worship for a long time. To be visited this day, are many temples abound in the area, with Egyptian gods like Isis or Horus placed in the spotlight.
You can return to the ship following this guided walking tour of the road between Karnak and Luxor temples, along which the priests carried the sacred boat of Amun and his Triad from Karnak to visit Luxor in the holy procession of the festival of Opet.
After that, you will go back onto the ship.
No meals included today.
Take in an early-morning hot-air balloon flight around Luxor (optional).
We will take the Luxor West Bank tour today. First on our list to visit will be the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, commonly known as Deir el-Bahri. It has been called the temple for the daughter of King Thutmose III since it was constructed in the fifteenth century BC. The temple was built for Amen to honor and celebrate his carrying Hatshepsut into her kingship by giving her a divine father image in the form of himself.
When we come out here, we will push shortly to the Valley of the Kings, the necropolis where tombs of New Kingdom kings and aristocracy (1550-1069 B. C.) were found. Among these tombs, there would be Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I. Then we will proceed to the Memnon colossi, two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III, transported into this spot in the 19th century CE.
Travel to Edfu via Esna to overnight at Esea.

In our journey, we will take a look at the two historic cities of Kom Ombo and Edfu, which have a lot of stories to tell. Here, the two temples of Egypt, the Temple of Horus, and the Temple of Sobek, are situated.
The day will start with a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The site is among the finest locations displaying Egyptian art and architecture. Horus, the hawk-headed god of heaven and sovereignty, occupied the central position of the great temple built by Pharaoh Ptolemy II Philadelphus (285-246 BC). Next, you will move to Kom Ombo, where the significance of this place concerning the aim of King Ramses II of Egypt's unification (1279-1213 BC) will be revealed to you.
Afterward, a return trip
We will be in Aswan for the entire day. You will go to the Aswan High Dam, which prevents 90% of the water in Lake Nasser from flowing out. You will have the opportunity to learn the history of the dam and how it was built. Standing at the top of the dam, take a picture of the longest river in the world flowing underneath.

You'll also see the impressive Temple of Isis, one of only two remaining temples on the island of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk, which Ramses II started but never finished before he died. Then enjoy your free time as you please. Dinner aboard the Tosca Nile Cruise in the evening before spending the night in Aswan.
