Itinerary

At Cairo International Airport, our professional tour leader will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to your hotel for a smooth and easy check-in. He will also review your schedule and confirm all pick-up times for your Egypt Tours Packages, which will begin with your visit to the iconic Pyramids of Egypt. Settle in, relax, and get ready for the adventures ahead.

A welcome drink will be served at the hotel.

Start the second day of your 12-day group tour package with an exciting half-day visit to the legendary Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx. We’ll pick you up from your Cairo hotel at 9:00 AM and drive to the Giza Plateau, where you’ll explore the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus.

The Great Pyramid, completed around 2560 B.C., remains one of the most extraordinary structures ever created. It took more than 20 years to build, using only copper tools, and it still stands as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, an awe-inspiring testament to ancient engineering that has survived thousands of years without collapse or major damage.

After exploring the pyramids, we’ll continue to another iconic site: the Great Sphinx. This remarkable monument, with the body of a lion and the head of a human, dates back roughly 4,500 years and is one of the oldest surviving sculptures on the planet.

If time permits, you may also enjoy an optional camel ride through a nearby desert village, where you can try authentic Egyptian snacks and shop for local souvenirs.

Once your excursion is complete, we’ll return to your Cairo hotel for lunch, followed by some free time to relax before spending the night at the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today, you’ll enjoy a full-day tour to Alexandria from Cairo. After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll begin the 2-hour drive to this vibrant coastal city, one of Egypt most beloved destinations. Alexandria has a unique charm, blending Mediterranean beauty with layers of ancient history, and you’ll have time to experience its relaxed atmosphere, including a peaceful walk along the Corniche overlooking the sea.

Your tour will take you to the famous Library of Alexandria. The original library was founded around 300 BC and became one of the greatest centers of knowledge in the ancient world before it was tragically destroyed by fire in 48 BC. You’ll also visit the area traditionally associated with the Tomb of Alexander the Great, as well as Pompey’s Pillar, an impressive monument built in 331 BC in honor of Pompey Magnus.

Next, you will explore the Citadel of Qaitbay, a remarkable 15th-century fortress that stands proudly on the Mediterranean coastline right where the ancient Lighthouse of Pharos once rose, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

After your historical journey, enjoy a delicious fresh seafood lunch at a high-quality local restaurant, then continue to your hotel in Alexandria for a relaxing overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After enjoying your daily breakfast, you’ll travel back to Cairo to continue your amazing Cairo day tours. Today, you'll explore one of the most iconic museums in the world: The Egyptian Museum in Cairo. This incredible place showcases the treasures of King Tutankhamun, the only royal treasure ever found completely intact, alongside countless artifacts belonging to other great pharaohs.

Visiting early allows you to truly appreciate the museum’s vast collection. Inside, you’ll find everything from mummies and sarcophagi to statues, jewelry, and funerary masterpieces that bring ancient Egyptian history to life.

After your tour, enjoy a delicious lunch at a well-known local restaurant. Then, you’ll head to the train station to board the sleeper train to Aswan, where you’ll spend the night in your private compartment.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast on board the train, you’ll arrive at Aswan train station to begin your Aswan day tour. Today’s highlights include visiting the remarkable Aswan High Dam and the beautiful Philae Temple, both offering stunning views of the Nile River. The High Dam is an engineering marvel that has transformed the lives of millions in Egypt and Sudan, and it’s a popular site easily accessible by private transport from Aswan.

Next, you’ll explore the Philae Temple, originally built on an island and now partially submerged under Lake Nasser, which can be viewed by boat for a truly memorable experience.

After a delicious lunch, you’ll have some free time to relax before returning to your hotel in Aswan for dinner and an overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today, you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey to the temples of Abu Simbel. No visit to this area is complete without seeing the magnificent temples built by Pharaoh Ramesses II in honor of himself and his queen. These colossal structures date back to the 13th century BC, showcasing the grandeur of Egypt’s greatest builder.

The main temple is carved directly into the mountainside and features two enormous statues of Ramesses II. Inside, you’ll marvel at the beautifully decorated chambers, intricate carvings, and hieroglyphs that tell stories of ancient Egypt. You’ll also have the rare opportunity to explore the rock-hewn boat, carved from a single piece of granite, a true testament to ancient craftsmanship.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

This morning, we’ll depart from Aswan to Luxor, often called the greatest open-air museum and the heart of Egypt’s New Kingdom golden age! Your Luxor day tours will begin with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Luxor, one of ancient Egypt’s most important temples, dating back to around 1400 BC.

The temple, located on the eastern bank of the Nile, was begun by King Amenhotep III of the 18th dynasty and completed by Ramses II of the 19th dynasty. As you explore, you’ll see numerous statues of pharaohs, including Ramesses II’s golden mask and Seti I’s statue depicting him making offerings to Amun Ra. The grandeur and artistry of the temple provide an incredible insight into ancient Egyptian religious and cultural life.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor for check-in and overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Luxor before meeting your certified tour guide and private driver to continue your Egypt group tour package with a visit to the East Bank of Luxor. Today’s highlight is the incredible Karnak Temple complex, one of the largest and most significant religious sites in Egypt. Built over several centuries, the complex features numerous structures, including festival halls, sanctuaries, and towering pylons, showcasing the grandeur of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Next, we’ll head to the West Bank of Luxor at sunset for a private dinner cruise along the Nile River. Delight in a delicious meal while enjoying breathtaking views of some of Egypt’s most famous monuments. Your first stop will be Hatshepsut Temple at Deir Al-Bahari, a striking limestone structure built to honor Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty and serve as both a burial temple and a shrine to Amun Re.

Afterward, explore the Valley of the Kings and marvel at the Colossi of Memnon before beginning an approximately three-hour drive to Hurghada, where you will stay overnight at a comfortable hotel.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Start your day in Hurghada with a delicious breakfast before embarking on an exciting adventure. You’ll enjoy a two-hour dive on the Sindbad Submarine, exploring the vibrant marine life and colorful coral reefs of the Red Sea. As the only submarine in the Middle East accommodating 44 passengers, it offers a unique underwater experience reaching depths of up to 22 meters, where you can admire a wide variety of marine creatures. No scuba diving experience is required to join this unforgettable journey.

After your submarine adventure, you’ll be returned to your hotel in Hurghada to relax and enjoy the rest of your day.

Egypt essentially has no crime. There is not much violent crime and mostly small-time stealing. However, like with other major cities across the world, you should use caution when strolling through extremely populated sections of Cairo or Alexandria.
