Itinerary
Starting your first day with a pickup from Cairo International Airport, our English speaking Tour Leader will meet you at to help you with your luggage while they arrange a private transfer to your hotel.
You will check in to the hotel for your stay which will prepare you to begin your 9 Day Cairo and Siwa Desert Safari Tour. Your Tour Leader will confirm all pick-up times for upcoming excursions.
Enjoy a Welcome Drink
After breakfast at the hotel our representative will meet you to create your Cairo day tour schedule.
The Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx serve as Egypt's most famous ancient monuments which visitors can explore. The Saqqara Necropolis provides access to both mastaba tombs and the later constructed pyramids.
The day concludes in Memphis the ancient capital where visitors can explore temples and palaces and tombs which display ancient Egyptian life.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
The Cairo Day Tour begins at the Egyptian Museum which serves as Africa's largest museum.The museum displays more than 120000 Ancient Egyptian artifacts which include mummies and sculptures and gold treasures.
The Coptic Cairo area contains historic churches and monasteries and the Ben Ezra Synagogue plus the Church of St. Sergius which displays valuable Byzantine mosaics and icons.
The day concludes at Khan El-Khalili Bazaar which stands as one of Cairo's oldest markets.
The market provides visitors with opportunities to shop and enjoy a café while they experience the local culture.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast, will leave for Alexandria Day Tour, which is Egypt's historic Mediterranean port city that is known for its connection to Cleopatra and Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
The tour includes visits to historic sites which include the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, Cleopatra's Needle and Pompey's Pillar and Fort Qaitbey.
The team will investigate the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and they will take in the beautiful Ibn Tulun Mosque and Al-Hussein Mosque.
The program starts with a presentation about Alexander the Great and his legacy, followed by a visit to Taposiris Magna which showcases ancient Alexandrian life.
The city tour starts after lunch with a visit to Arabesque Square and El-Rashid Mosque, which Khedive Ismail commissioned for construction.
