Your lunch will start: stop at a local restaurant for a break and then continue to Saqqara. We will take you to the step pyramid, the first building entirely made out of stone in the world. The tour includes an entrance to the pyramid of Teti inside and a well-preserved tomb from the tombs of the nobles at Sakkara showing the daily life scenes of ancient Egyptians.
After the tour, you will be escorted to your hotel to check in and spend your night in Cairo
On the second day, you will visit the Egyptian Museum which displays a rare collection of the items that Egypt has and also the treasures of the King Tutankhamun with our certified tour guide that will make sure to answer all your questions.
Moreover, our Egyptologist will take you to relish your perfect lunch meal in a high-quality restaurant. Then you will be heading to visit the Citadel of Salah El-din which was built in the 12th century by the famous Muslim ruler Salah Al-Din; that includes many buildings and palaces. we will mainly stop at Mohamed Ali Mosque inside, The mosque is fully covered with alabaster panels from inside and outside even the ground is paved with this costly kind of marble, that's why it is known as the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.
The last part of the tour, if we still have adequate time in Cairo will be spent in one of the most vibrant well known local markets in Egypt as Khan El Khalili Bazaar; Where you can see a lot of famous mosques like Al Azhar and Al Hussein as well as the bazaars, restaurants and local coffee shops in Cairo’s old bazaar.
After the sightseeing, you will be accompanied by our accredited guide all the way back to Alexandria port in order to provide you with a lot more historical information about the culture and monuments of ancient history: answering all your questions about the modern part of Egyptian history.
