Saqqara is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Egypt. It is located in the Western Desert, about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southwest of Cairo. Saqqara was the burial ground for the Pharaohs and their families from the 1st Dynasty to the 6th Dynasty (2686 BC - 2323 BC). The site is home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt. The Step Pyramid is surrounded by a complex of buildings, including the tomb of Imhotep, the architect of the pyramid.

Kagemni was a prominent figure in ancient Egypt, holding important administrative positions during the 6th Dynasty (around 2300 BCE). He served as the vizier (chief advisor) to Pharaoh Teti, making his tomb a significant historical and archaeological site.

A mastaba tomb is a type of ancient Egyptian burial structure characterized by a rectangular shape with sloping sides and a flat roof. It typically consists of one or more burial chambers beneath the structure, accessed through a vertical shaft or stairway. Mastabas were commonly used for the burials of elite individuals during the Early Dynastic and Old Kingdom periods.
