Enjoy your first breakfast on board your Sonesta Amirat Dahabiya cruise ship and then you will start your wonderful Egypt Day Tours visiting the Aswan High Dam Aswan Dam, which was designed by the Moscow-based Institute of Hydroelectric Projects to save the country from the Nile floods that drowned Egypt every year with unused water, instead saving the energy needed to light the country.

You will also visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the wife of the God Osiris and the hero in the myth of Osiris and Isis against the evil God Seth, the Goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the construction of the High Dam.

In the early morning, have your daily breakfast aboard the vessel while sailing to Kom Ombo. This morning you will sail to Edfu after having your tasty breakfast onboard your Egypt Nile River Cruise. then you will be able to see the amazingly preserved Temple of Edfu, which is considered one of the most interesting temples in Egypt located on the west bank of the Nile and it dates back to the Ptolemaic era.

Today, after having your tasty lunch, you will have a free day to enjoy the unusual atmosphere. We will start sailing to Esna and passing the lock,

This morning you will sail to Luxor and start your Luxor day tours, Throughout its history, the city has had different names; the ancient Egyptians called her Waset, which meant "scepter." The Greeks called it Thebes because of its similarity to the Greek city that gave it its name. Visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra known as the magnificent Karnak Temple, which is the largest of the boundaries of the temple complex and is dedicated to Amun-Re, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the impressive 28th ruling family Temple of Luxor, which was built by Amenophis the third and considered the most important religious and administrative center in ancient Egypt history. Your lunch and dinner will be served on board.

After having breakfast, your Egyptologist tour guide will take you on the West Bank tours in Luxor to visit the great burial ground of the new kingdom Pharaohs - the Valley of the Kings - where Howard Carter succeded in discovering the tomb of one of the most well-known pharaohs of ancient Egypt nowadays, King Tutankhamen in 1922 whom his golden collection are displayed separately inside the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Proceed to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, Medinet Habu Temple, and the worldwide famous Colossi of Memnon built for the great King Amenhotep III who was the grandfather of Tutankhamun. Enjoy your lunch and dinner on board.
