El Gouna Red Sea
El Gouna is located 22 km north of Hurghada International Airport and is separated from Cairo by a distance of 470 km.
Meaning of the name: the origin of the name El Gouna is Arabic, and El Gouna is a scion (piece) of skin in the form of a circle in which the perfumer preserves the good of the fragrance, and the name was mentioned by the prophet of Islam Muhammad in Hadiths and said that the meaning of El Gouna is “mesmerizing like pieces of the night”. He also said in a Hadeeth: and his hand found a cold and wind as if he had brought it out of Juna ' Attar.
El Gouna also has many meanings, including it being said that El Gouna is the sleeve (meaning a hill or a high place), El Gouna is a name given to both: black, and white. And John is black mixed with red, and the plural: John. The name El Gouna is also called for the white thing and the light that emits from the pure shiny thing, and the sun is said to be El Gouna, that is, white with a brilliant Ray, and the moon is said to be the tip of the bow, and it is also said that the ship docked in El Gouna, that is, in the Bay, and perhaps this meaning applies to it because it is a small bay.
The Tourism in El Gouna
El Gouna is characterized by being a site for diving at depths and various water sports, and the resort has two main beaches, namely the beach "Zeitouna Beach" and the beach "mangrove beach", and the resort is interspersed with a large number of water channels, which makes each house, villa or chalet in the resort its own beach, and most of these water channels were built on small stone bridges to facilitate movement.
There are 6 neighborhoods in El Gouna, namely "Marina Town", "Mediterranean Neighborhood", "golf neighborhood", "Nubian Neighborhood", "Hadba Neighborhood" and"Italian Neighborhood". There are also three main central areas in El Gouna where there are houses, shops, shopping areas, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs, namely the downtown area, Tamer Hanna Square area, and Abu Tej Marina area, which is being developed to receive large-sized yachts. there is a diverse FM radio station in the resort, "El Gouna radio". El Gouna Resort has 14 hotels of 4 to 5-star grades in addition to a 6-star hotel. It stretches near the Abu Tig Marina in the resort, there is also another yacht marina, Abydos Marina.
El Gouna has hosted international golf competitions organized by Fred Couples, who previously held the number-one ranking in the game.
There is also a fully equipped hospital in El Gouna, as well as the EGIS school and the Technical University of Berlin, and a small airport for the resort, for private jets, and for "charter" planes.
There is also a small museum in El Gouna with about 90 exhibits, which was opened in 1990. It also contains an exhibition showcasing the works of contemporary Egyptian plastic artist Hussein Bekar.

The club is similar in its services to other clubs such as the Sharm el Sheikh Yacht Club, the marina of the Egyptian north coast, the Limassol Marina in the neighboring state of Cyprus, and the Dubai Marina.
