On the first day after you register for the cruise and we take care of transporting you from your location in Aswan to the cruise, our visit will begin so that we can make the most of every minute of your time.
We'll begin with a visit to the High Dam, a relentless force that has provided Egypt with agricultural development, flood protection, electricity, and has contributed to attracting tourism to Aswan. It's a cultural hub for irrigation engineers, with approximately 1,500 employees, technicians, and engineers working there as soldiers protecting the dam. Learn more about the other side of the dam's negative aspects.
Our next stop is Aswan's Unfinished Obelisk. The Unfinished Obelisk is made of red granite, Aswan's distinctive raw stone. The Fourth Dynasty pharaohs Khafre and Menkaure placed a great deal of emphasis on covering with pink granite. Khafre used about 17,000 cubic meters of stone to build the Sphinx Temple, the valley temple, and the mortuary temple. Menkaure also covered the lowest part of his pyramid at Giza with about 15,000 cubic meters of pink granite from Aswan.
After that, you and your guide will go to the final archeological site of the day. Numerous structures from the Ptolemaic era (332–30 BC) may be seen among the Temple of Philae's ruins. The most notable is the temple devoted to Isis, the mother of Horus, the deity of kingship, which was started by Ptolemy II Philadelphus between 285-246 BC. It shows Isis breastfeeding her baby Horus in the marshes in the mammisi, the birth chamber where Horus's birth was commemorated.
Finally you will return to your cruise for dinner and enjoy the Nile and the parties held.
