Then we will move to visit Deir el-Bahari is the Arabic name for this site; it means the 'convent of the North,' as there was once a monastery in the temple of Hatshepsut. It is situated on Thebes' west bank.
Three Middle and New Kingdom mortuary temples can be found in the location. Mentuhotep II's mortuary temple (2134-2130, 11th Dynasty), Hatshepsut's Temple of Millions of Years (1479-1457, 18th Dynasty), and Thutmose III's Temple of Millions of Years (1479-1425, 18th Dynasty)—the latter of which is now severely damaged—are the temples in question. There are also several tombs of privates.
