Itinerary

Start your luxury journey with a Luxury Egypt tour. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our assistant will meet you at the airport, assist you through all airport arrival formalities, and accompany you to your hotel. Later, you'll meet your local travel manager and go over the entire program organized for your luxury vacation, as well as on some wondeful details on the check-in process. When checking in, we will also guide you through all the formalities and settle you down before setting out on a wonderful Cairo city tour.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to begin your first Cairo adventure with a full-day tour in which the first stop shall be the iconic Giza Pyramids that were constructed 4,500 years ago.

The Great Pyramid of Cheops was made after about 23 years against all odds; it stands today, much as it did then, for you to look at. All was reinstated there: pyramids of Chephren, grandson of Cheops; and Mycerinus, the foreign missionary who was responsible for changing Egypt's religion and persuading them to abandon Osiris in favor of a local deity from a sacred cow being worshiped as a god and interchangeable enough to play the role of the Pharaoh too. What else would dead priests do but make up these stories? The Great Sphinx, a mythical lion whose human face has kept safe the necropolis for almost 4,500 years, will follow in line. Here, visitors will have a unique opportunity to take a camel ride and pose for photos with the pyramids in the distance. The next visit is to the Valley Temple of King Chephren for the granite and alabaster mummification rituals of the god-King.

Then your guide and private driver will takthe e you to the Egyptian Museum, home of the largest selection of Egyptian artifacts globally. it is here that all the must-see wonders of King Tut, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, are displayed.

Proceed with a drive to Coptic Cairo, and you will find the old Roman fortress called Babylon, the Hanging Church, which sits atop old towers, as well as the Church of St. Sergius, which sits above the crypt where the Holy Family is said to have taken refuge. Do not miss the opportunity to explore the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is alleged to be the courtyard where Moses was found by the Pharaoh's daughter.

An examination of Medieval Cairo around lunchtime will feature the city's mixed collection of walls and gates, originally built by Fatimid leader Badr Al Gamali. Stand amazed as you limp around narrow streets alive with stores originally from the 10th century. Pulling your day to a close, you halt for mint tea at Al-Fishawy, a coffeehouse dating back to the times of Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Meals: Breakfast and lunch.

You will check out from your hotel early, after breakfast, then our representative will transfer you to Cairo airport for your short flight to Luxor, where a representative will meet and assist you for your Egypt day trips and Egypt tour packages. You will proceed with the transfer to board your 5-star Nile cruise on Steinberger MS Minerva. After your check-in and lunch aboard the ship, you'll head to the eastern bank of Luxor to pay a visit to the Karnak temples that were led by powerful religious institutions of the past. It was essentially the very focal point of rule for an empire which reached far and wide and detailed drawings should be put in place depicting the majority of Egypt. While still on the eastern bank, proceed to get a glimpse inside the Luxor temples. The remarkable view of the Luxor Temples at night is made even more remarkable by watching the skyward celebration and thinking about what of their prosperity was displayed by the Ancient Egyptians 3800 years ago could still be essentially clever in honoring the Ancient Egyptian gods.

After finishing your Luxor east bank sightseeing tour, you will be transferred back to your ship, followed by dinner.

Egypt is a large country with a lot of must-see sights in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. If you want to see all the sights, such as the Valley of the Kings and the Giza Pyramids, Edfu, and Kom Ombo, it is better to sign up for a guided multi-day tour. You can be certain that you won't miss any of this interesting country's major attractions if you do this.

Egypt's official currency is the Egyptian Pound. Most hotels, restaurants, and upscale shops accept credit cards. ATMs dispensing local currency are also available in hotels and outside major banks.

The direct answer itself. Egypt is a very safe country, especially for tourists. All points and attractions are well guarded, tourist buses are escorted (some) and you will find security on the main streets of the city.

The care and precautions that you have in your country or other destinations is the same that you should have in Egypt, in addition to respecting the recommendations of your tourist advisor or the tourist police

Yes, women have no issues in Egypt; it's safe. You'll discover that visitors are generally pestered and followed around a lot in the nation; occasionally this is done to market a product or because the visitor is foreign and drawn to novelty.

To avoid drawing unnecessary attention, try to blend in with the throng. In Egypt, men are not accustomed to seeing women expose that much skin in public, especially outside of major towns. Dress modestly because you are there to discover a new culture, not to alter the one that already exists.

The official and most widely spoken language in Egypt is Egyptian Arabic. As it is most commonly used for travelling, English is taught in schools as an additional language.

A luxurious travel experience, the Egypt & The Nile Luxury Tour transports you past the magnificent Nile River and Egypt's ancient wonders. It blends opulent Nile cruise travel with tours of famous historical locations including the Valley of the Kings, Luxor's Karnak Temple, and the Pyramids of Giza.
