With a day dedicated to pounding on Egypt's ancient and modern center stage, this tour begins in Luxor, where you will have an overnight stay in Cairo. Your morning will begin with a flight from Luxor to Cairo, so your guide will be there to meet you as you exit the plane and take you immediately to the country's main landmarks. Your time will begin in the shadow of the huge Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx; with amazement, the monuments inspire wonder due to their size, alignment, and exact purpose. Considerations will be given about the pharaohs who fashioned these monuments from history as they roam the entire complex, including the Valley Temple.
Continuing the wonders, there will be a visit to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir. The museum is home to many artifacts, among which are the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Your guide will offer you inside information on the highlights of the museum, explaining the stories behind mummies, statues, jewelry, and ancient manuscripts. Late evening, after this all-day discovery experience in Egypt, you will check into your comfortable hotel accommodation in Cairo, allowing enough time for some relaxation to soak in the magic of the city at night. After breakfast the next morning, you will be taken to the airport for your return flight to Luxor.
Your excursion starts in the morning with a flight from Luxor to Cairo. A professional guide will be waiting for you at the airport. After which, you will head on a full-day tour starting with the Great Pyramids of Giza, which consist of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. After exploring the Sphinx, the pristine temple of the valley can also be visited, together with your guide, who will explain the wonderful places you will see. And the reason why these landmarks are marked as historic sites containing rich history. Surely you will leave the sites feeling fulfilled.
After Giza, you can continue to the Egyptian Museum, where the thousands of different artifacts will further your fascination. Some of the highlighted items include gold-plated treasures belonging to King Tutankhamun, several ancient mummies, relics from Egypt’s very long complex history, and many more. Previously having lunch at a local restaurant, you will proceed to Old Cairo to view The Hanging Church alongside Ben Ezra Synagogue and guard the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, known as the center for Lahzagat, to witness local products advertised as souvenirs.
Winding down, you will head to your accommodation in Cairo, where you will spend the night. Take your time recharging or exploring the city as you wish before resting. From there, you proceed to spend your next day after breakfast and transit to Cairo airport, where, by then, the flight back to Luxor will occur.
