After assisting you with all the procedures at Cairo International Airport, Cairo Top Tours will take you to your hotel, where you will make your reservation and spend the night. Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any changes you would like. We will review the pick-up times on your itinerary for the 7-day Cairo, Alexandria, and Marsa Matrouh group tour package.

The Giza Pyramids, Memphis, and Saqqara will be visited by your group tour on Day 2, following breakfast at the hotel.
Any visitor to Egypt must see the Giza Pyramids. They are among the most well-known sights in Egypt and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. While there has been much conjecture over the years regarding the true purpose of these pyramids, they were originally constructed as pharaohs' tombs. You will have the opportunity to visit Memphis, which is an ancient city that was the capital of Egypt during its Old Kingdom era (2686 - 2181 B.C.), in addition to getting a close-up look at these amazing structures. You will also spend time at Saqqara, which is a significant necropolis in southern Egypt that served as a necropolis and the final resting place for numerous pharaohs during this era.
You will have the opportunity to visit Memphis, which is an ancient city that was the capital of Egypt during its Old Kingdom era (2686 - 2181 B.C.), in addition to getting a close-up look at these amazing structures. You'll also have time to visit Saqqara, which is a significant necropolis in southern Egypt that is well-known for the step pyramid that King Djoser erected in 2630 BC, and which was a mausoleum for numerous pharaohs. Explore another nobleman's tomb in Saqqara, which belongs to the son-in-law of the sixth-dynasty king Teti.
We will transfer you back to your hotel after finishing your excursions in Cairo.

After breakfast, you will head out early in the morning with your certified tour guide to explore Alexandria, which was named the most beautiful city in the world for centuries and was founded in 332 B.C. by Alexander the Great, who is a well-known leader of the Greco-Roman era. Once you arrive, you will first see the Pompey Pillar and then The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which were formerly the tombs of Egyptian nobles and are now open to the public. The art style that combined elements of Roman and Pharaonic art will astound you.
Continue your day trip to Alexandria from Cairo to see the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was built on the site of the historic Lighthouse Pharos. This lighthouse was once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After enjoying a delicious lunch of fresh seafood at one of Alexandria's most elegant eateries with a view of the harbor, you will go to the contemporary Library of Alexandria to see one of the most stunning architectural feats in modern history.
You will be transferred now to your hotel for check-in and overnight.

After breakfast, make your way to El Alamein to enjoy your tour of the site of the two major Second World War battles between the Allied and Axis forces. See the Military Museum to learn more, visit the WWII Commonwealth Cemetery, and then head to the lovely Mediterranean city of Marsa Matrouh for a delicious lunch of Egyptian cuisine. After that, spend some time relaxing on the beach, check in, and spend the night there.

You will be driven back to Cairo in your air-conditioned car after breakfast. Once you arrive, your first stop on your Cairo city tour will be The Egyptian Museum, which is located in Tahrir Square. This structure is home to over 120,000 artifacts from various periods of Egypt's history. King Tutankhamun's priceless golden collection will amaze you.
We will transfer you to Old Cairo to begin your tour of Coptic Cairo. First, see the first-century-old Roman fortress of Babylon, which is topped by the Coptic Orthodox Church that is known as the Hanging Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, which is perched atop two of the fortress's towers. See the Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Abu Serga Cave Church as well. Before being taken to your hotel spend the night there and have lunch.
