On Day 2 of your Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh Easter Tours, after enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet at your hotel in Cairo, you will meet your English-speaking tour guide to start your Cairo Day Tours to the Giza Plateau.

Your first stop will be the Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu. This 4,500-year-old pyramid is an architectural marvel, comprising over 2.6 million pieces of rock. Next, you will visit the Pyramid of Chephren, the second-largest pyramid on the Giza Plateau. King Chephren, who also built the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, constructed this pyramid. Afterwards, you will proceed to Sakkara, where you will explore the Stepped Pyramid Complex. This complex is home to the oldest pyramid in history, built by King Djoser over 4,600 years ago. You will also have the opportunity to enter the pyramid of Teti, known for its spectacular interior, and explore the tombs of the nobles at Sakkara, which offer insights into the daily life of ancient Egyptians.

The final stop of the day will be Memphis, the first capital in Egyptian history. Inside the Memphis open-air museum, you will see a famous statue of King Ramses II and an alabaster sphinx, providing further insights into ancient Egyptian history.

After the tour, you will have your lunch at a local restaurant then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

The first stop will be the Grand Egyptian Museum, which offers a fascinating journey through ancient Egypt, highlighting the achievements of its kings, queens, and remarkable civilization.

You will have the opportunity to see the massive statues of the great Egyptian Kings, including the famous golden mask and treasures of King Tutankhamun.

Next, you will visit the Citadel of Saladin, built by the renowned Islamic leader Sultan Saladin to defend Cairo from the crusaders. Inside the Citadel, you will see the impressive alabaster mosque, constructed by King Mohamed Ali 200 years ago during Turkish rule in Egypt.

You will also visit the church of St Sergius, which houses a crypt where the holy virgin Mary and Jesus are believed to have stayed for nearly three months. Afterwards, you will continue to the Islamic district of Cairo, where you will explore Khan El Khalili, the oldest bazaar in the Middle East, which has been in operation for over a thousand years.

Ras Mohamed National Park is known for its stunning underwater ecosystem, with over 130 types of coral reefs and more than 1000 different species of fish. 

During the trip, the boat will make three stops at different locations, allowing you to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea.

Explore the vibrant coral reefs and encounter a variety of marine life. After a full day of snorkeling and enjoying the underwater beauty, the boat will return to the shore in the late afternoon.
