On the second day, we will take you to your first destination after meeting you in the hotel lobby in the morning. The Pyramid in Memphis. At first, the Pyramid stood 52 meters tall with a base that was roughly 78 meters wide. But over time, a large portion of the pyramid was lost or eroded, leaving it only about 15 meters high today.
Large, precisely-cut stone blocks were not used in the construction of the Memphis Pyramid, in contrast to the other major Egyptian pyramids.
