Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Eco-lodge before continuing your day tour of the Siwa Oasis, which you began in Cairo. Take time to see the remains of the Old Town of Shali. After that, you will be taken to the Aghurmi hamlet to witness the 26th dynasty-era Temple of Alexander the Great (also known as the Temple of The Oracle) and the Temple of Um Ubeyda, which is a temple dedicated to Amun Ra.

You will also visit the Mountain of the Dead (Jabal el Mawta), where you will see the fascinating tombs of the rulers of Siwa Oasis during the twenty-sixth dynasty, including the tombs of SI Amon, MSW Isis, and the crocodile tomb. After that, you will enjoy a relaxing afternoon at Cleopatra Spring, where you can swim and splash around in the glistening water.

On the second day of your Siwa Desert Safari, your Egyptologist guide will accompany you in a four-wheel drive to explore the Great Sand Sea. Have breakfast at the hotel and then continue your safari.

From the moment we reach the fossil region and observe the stony coral reefs that date back to the Cambrian age, your Egypt Desert Safari trip will begin amid the golden sand dunes.

Then, we'll drive you to one of the attractive locations in the vast sand sea, where there is a lovely lake in the centre of the desert. Here, you could be lucky enough to view flamingo birds and swim in the lake's chilly water while taking in the desert's serenity.

After passing by Dakrour Mountain, we will now enjoy the Siwa sandboarding experience. While it is not as quick as snowboarding, with the right amount of wax, we can let you shoot down some of the extensive sand dunes in the Great Sand Sea and have thrills to spare. After sandboarding, it is time to wash up in the hot spring known as Bir Wahid for chilling and calming our muscles.
Nighttime in Siwa

On the last day of your Siwa Oasis tour, you'll have another organic breakfast at the Eco-lodge before being driven back to your Cairo hotel by your own personal driver and expert Egyptologist guide. The trip back takes around 8 to 9 hours, including a break. We hope that your Siwa Oasis excursion from Cairo was enjoyable.

Breakfast will be served in the hotel on the last day of your Egypt travel packages.
