The archaeological complex, famous for its three great pyramids (Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure) and the Great Sphinx, will be the first stop on our tour of the Pyramids of Giza. Before continuing with our visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, we’ll have lunch. In addition to the incredible archaeological finds, the museum displays the priceless treasure of King Tutankhamun and a rare 7-cm-tall ivory statue of the legendary King Khufu. Also on display is a granite figure of Queen Hatshepsut, along with 120,000 other artefacts dating from the Paleolithic era to the Greco-Roman period of ancient Egypt.
Once the day trips in Cairo are over, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant dinner on a Nile cruise while watching the Tanura belly dance show.
