You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo early morning for the mind-blowing Egypt Desert Safari tours to Bahariya Oasis. Your tour guide and driver will then pick you up from your hotel then proceed to pick up the private/comfortable car to go to the bus station where you will board an A/C bus to Bahariya Oasis; a 4 hours drive from Cairo.
After reaching the oasis, you have an opportunity to be driven around the Valley of Golden Mummies, there are only ten mummies in proper preservation, the royal golden mummies, and the Tombs of the Nobles which contain secrets of the rulers of the ancient oasis. Some of the important tombs that belong to the Middle Kingdom era include the Tomb of Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh known as Banamentiu- mainly a tomb for group burials, the Temple of Alexander the Great located thirty kilometers east of the Bahariya Oasis to depict Alexander’s movement towards Siwa Oasis, Temple of Ain El-Meffetla or Ein Muftella situated northwest of Bawiti. The temple is composed of four chapels which were earlier part of the 26th dynasty in the timeline of Egyptian history The four chapels of the temple were excavated in the year 1939 by the Egyptian archaeologist.
If they can cook lunch for us it will be at one of his houses at the oasis In the afternoon we will head for the White Desert before reaching there we can make stops at the Valley of El Haize, Recently discovered on the ruins of the of the Roman fortress The fortress was one of the Northern strongholds in the Western Desert. Take an interval to visit the quartz crystal in Crystal Mountain & fabulous Valley of Agabat & camp in the White Desert to have a magnificent view of the sunset and the cream-colorized sand and have dinner deliciously prepared by the local guides.
