Start the day aboard with a healthy breakfast, followed by an excursion to the interesting sights of Aswan. Following a delectable breakfast on the cruise, the tour with Your Egypt Day Tours goes to Wadi El Sebou, a huge archaeological site with excellent temples ordered by Ramses II. This site was relocated to prevent it from being submerged by Lake Nasser; some of the temple reliefs show the triumphal conquests of the Pharaohs and their adoration of the gods. The temples speak for ancient and modern wonders of engineering.

Next up is a visit to the Temple of Amada, which ranks as one of the oldest in Nubia, dating from the time of Thutmose III and dedicated to the god Amon Ra. There are remarkably well-preserved artworks on its walls, together with inscriptions about the religious rituals and methods of worship of ancient Egyptians. This temple also speaks eloquently of the workmanship of the Nubians from the Thutmose III and Ramses II dynasties, during which it was a center of spiritual life.

Originally the site of the tombs of the Nubian royal family is no longer accessible to the general public cultural and strategic importance of Qasr Ibrim can still be appreciated from the vantage point of the ship.

The excursion will continue further to the stunning Abu Simbel temples testifying to the power and closeness to the gods of Ramses II. These incredible temples have been ingeniously moved in the 1960s to save them from the high waters of Lake Nasser as a fantastic engineering feat.

These temples are not only impressive in their size and architectural competence but also allow one to step into the religious beliefs of Ramses II himself.
