It's time to bid the boat farewell. Today, you'll take a connecting flight to Cairo. You have the afternoon free to explore or unwind. You can explore the area, go shopping, have lunch at an alfresco café, or try some Egyptian food. The voyage will take you to Alexandria the next day, after you spend the night in Cairo.
Following breakfast, your flight to Alexandria will take place. Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel, where a local Egyptologist will give you a tour of the city's main attractions and historical sites. See the largest Roman cemeteries in Egypt, the Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, and the Roman Amphitheater. It was by accident that this place was discovered in the 1960s. There are thirteen marble seats encircling a lower-level stage that can hold up to 800 spectators in the only surviving Roman amphitheater in Egypt. Finish at the Alexandria National Museum, which features over 1,800 artifacts from Egypt's past and is situated in the former mansion of business magnate Asaad Bassili.
Following breakfast, you will be taken by our tour guide to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where you may gain further insight into one of the most significant ancient intellectual hubs. Later, you will go to the Montazah Palace Gardens to see the gardens of Khedive Abbas Hilmy, the last viceroy of Egypt and Sudan during the Ottoman Empire, and the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was constructed on the Mediterranean Sea coast by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay in the 15th century. You will eventually make it back to your hotel.
Following breakfast, we will travel from Alexandria to Siwa to view the Western Desert of Egypt. Since you'll be driving for several hours, there aren't many plans for the day. El Alamein War Museum and Cemetery is a landmark that honors the Battles of El Alamein (1942) and World War II. Siwa is where you will have dinner and spend the night, so unwind there.
You will tour the Berber settlements in the Siwa Oasis after breakfast. Some of the most significant sites in Siwa, including the 26th dynasty tombs at the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel al-Mawta), the Ptolemaic era, and the Roman era, will be shown to you by your tour guide. The Cleopatra Bath offers swimming in one of the area's oasis springs. Visits to the Oracle Temple, a 26th-dynasty temple built in the sixth century BCE, and the Siwan House, a museum situated in a historic dwelling, can teach you more about the customs and culture of the area. Make a side trip to Fatnas Island to witness the sunset before heading back to Siwa for the evening.
Go on exploring the Siwa Oasis area if you're searching for anything genuinely exceptional. Viewing the Shali stronghold, a tour of the 13th-century mud-brick stronghold ruins is available to you. This is not just an intriguing sight, but the vistas of the oasis are breathtaking. After that, on a safari adventure through the desert. Discover fossilized seashells, petrified trees, dunes, lakes, and springs—an unforgettable experience. Lastly, spend the night in Siwa and cap the day with a Bedouin supper.
You might stop at several places on your trip from Siwa to Cairo today, depending on what piques your interest. You will be met by our tour guide at the airport in Cairo, and a contemporary, air-conditioned car will transport you to your accommodation. You will be helped to check in easily when you arrive.

You will get a guided tour of the city's attractions with your guide following breakfast. The Egyptian Museum is one of the open-air attractions today, housing a sizable collection of ancient artifacts.
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the most recognizable and well-liked tourist attractions in the annals of ancient Egypt, will be on your itinerary. If you have time, you can tour the interior or use a neighboring vantage point to snap some photos.
You will ascend the hill to view the pyramid of King Khafre and the smallest of the Giza pyramids, the pyramid of Mycerinus, after seeing the other two pyramids. One of the most well-known sphinxes, the Great Sphinx, is also available for close-up photography.
You'll travel quickly to Luxor after breakfast. It is about 420 miles south of Cairo in this small Nile Valley village. You will board your cruise ship and embark on a Nile cruise as you arrive.
One of Egypt's most significant and ancient ruins is the Karnak Temple. It is one of the locations you may go to in Luxor these days. It was constructed in 1400 BCE, between the Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom eras. following your temple tour.
After lunch, we'll head back to your cruise ship for the night.
After breakfast, you'll continue traveling along the Nile, stopping to see the attractions along the west bank of the river and visiting the Valley of the Kings to see the rich aristocracy and kings' rock-cut tombs from the 16th to the 11th century BC. See the remnants of the Amenhotep memorial temple, which is located next to the Memnon Colossi. The temple's entrance was guarded by two tall sculptures of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which are now destroyed. Your next destination is the Queen Hatshepsut-dedicated complex of mortuary temples and tombs, known as Deir el-Bahri.
You will return to your cruise ship after your voyage and can unwind while enjoying your cruise to Esna.
Following breakfast, you will be picked up by our tour guide to visit two temples in Kom Ombo and Edfu. The fact that these temples date from the 237–57 BCE era makes them significant, and your guide will go into additional detail about their significance. At Edfu, work was done on the Temple of Horus between 237 and 57 BCE. Several of the inscriptions inside one of Egypt's best-preserved sanctuaries may still be made out. The Temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo (Haroeris) venerated the falcon god, Haroeris, and the crocodile deity, Sobek. Many of its courts, halls, sanctuaries, and chambers still have their walls intact, in addition to statues and wall carvings. You will visit the temples and then head back to the Nile.
Once your ship docks in Aswan, you'll have time to visit the city and its landmarks, such as the 1960s-built Aswan High Dam, which remains a significant feat to this day. It was a significant achievement at the time since it increased Egypt's electricity supply by four times.
Next, come see Philae Temple. About 690 BCE, construction began on temples dedicated to the goddess Isis that once stood at Philae.
