Upon arrival, our agent will greet and assist you in the check-in process at Steigenberger Omar El Khayam Lake Nasser Cruise. While having lunch on board, take your time to appreciate the breathtaking sights of the Nile. Comfort on board and take your dinner with great Nubian shows.

Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast onboard to start your day, then set off on an instructed tour to investigate the historic sites of Aswan. Set off with your guide to explore structures dating from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, including the Kalabsha Temple, a short drive south of Aswan. Dating to the 18th dynasty, this temple was committed to the Nubian god Mandoulis.
Your Aswan tours will also lead you to the rock-cut temple of Beit El Wali, ordered by Ramses II and dedicated to the gods Amun-Re, Khnum, Anuket, and Re-Horakhti. This was not only a place of worship but also a dwelling for priests and Christian leaders during the Christian era. Its architectural design resembles that of the famous Temple of Abu Simbel.
After these explorations, you will continue sailing to Wadi El Sebou. Then, you will have a tasty lunch on board the cruise boat.

Continue your excursions in Aswan by visiting the famous Amada Temple, the oldest temple ever found in Nubia. It was built by Pharaoh Thutmose III, and it was dedicated to the great god Amon Ra. This well-preserved temple retains most of its reliefs colored with bright colors - a reflection of the artistic abilities of that period. The schedule for the day would then be followed by lunch and dinner on board and an overnight near Amada.

Continue from there to the breathtaking Abu Simbel, boasting some of the most spectacular temple complexes in the Middle East and the world. Hewn into the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II, this complex consists of two great temples dedicated to the king and his queen, Nefertari. The exterior is cloaked in dramatic rock reliefs that celebrate Nefertari's triumph in the Battle of Kadesh and evoke images of Ancient Egypt.
