Daily Details for Travel Tour and Activities
Welcome to Egypt! Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our Cairo Top Tours tour leader, who will assist you with the arrival procedures and transport you by private vehicle to your hotel in Giza. Our tour manager will facilitate a smooth check-in process and review your itinerary to ensure all pick-up times are convenient for you. Relax and unwind as you prepare for your exciting Egypt tour.
After breakfast, your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel to start your exploration of the Giza Pyramids. Visit the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the Middle Pyramid of Chephren, and Mycerinus. The Valley Temple of Chephren and the iconic Great Sphinx will also be seen. Next, head to the Grand Egyptian Museum, which houses an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun.
Proceed to Coptic Cairo to see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga, and the old Roman fortress of Babylon. After having lunch at a fine Egyptian restaurant, visit the well-known mosques of Islamic Cairo and the vibrant Khan El Khalili bazaar to round off your day. Go back to your hotel so you can sleep well tonight.
After leaving your hotel in Giza, make your way to Cairo International Airport in preparation for your trip to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your luxurious Nile cruise ship. After lunch on board, begin your East Bank tour with a visit to the magnificent Luxor Temple, built during the reign of King Amenhotep III and completed by subsequent rulers. Enjoy dinner on the cruise as you settle in for the night.
Start your day with breakfast on board before embarking on a tour of Luxor's West Bank. Visit the colossal statues of the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, and the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut. Return to the cruise for lunch and sail towards Edfu. In the evening, enjoy a buffet dinner and entertainment, including musical performances and belly dancing. Optional hot air balloon rides over Luxor are available for a breathtaking view of the ancient sites and Nile landscape.
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Sail on to Kom Ombo to explore the unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Return to the cruise for lunch and continue sailing towards Aswan. Enjoy dinner on board, followed by a Nubian show.
Enjoy breakfast on board before touring the highlights of Aswan, including the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, which was likely commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut. Return to the cruise for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you have the option to visit the incredible Abu Simbel temples, built by Ramses II (optional activity). Check out from the cruise and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will be transported to your hotel in Giza for your final night in Egypt.
Enjoy your final breakfast in Cairo. If time permits, you can book additional tours in Cairo before checking out from the hotel.
