8 Days Egypt Luxury Tour to Cairo and Luxury Nile Cruise Package

Your day will start with a breakfast served at the hotel's main restaurant, followed by a meeting with your certified tour guide from Cairo Day Tours. You'll then be taken to the plateau of El Giza to see the iconic pyramids of Giza, which were built 4500 years ago. Your tour will begin at the Great Pyramid of Cheops and then proceed to the pyramids of kings Khafra Chephren and Mycerinus. You'll have the opportunity to explore the Great Sphinx, which served as a guardian for the Necropolis for 450 years. After that, you'll proceed to the high plateau to get a panoramic view of the pyramids and indulge in a camel ride in Giza Pyramids. Lastly, you'll be transferred to the Valley Temple of King Chephren.

Your second destination will be the Egyptian Museum, which houses some of the most valuable artifacts globally.  Next, you'll take the Coptic Cairo tour, which will bring you to many of the city's stunning and significant locations, including the Babylon fortress, The Hanging Church, and the church of St. Sergius. You'll also see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is believed to be the location where the Pharaoh's daughter retrieved the box of Moses from the Nile.

Following your lunch, you'll be taken to the Islamic Cairo region. Here, you will witness the walls and gates of the medieval city and the narrow streets filled with vibrant shops that date back to the 10th century. You'll eventually reach Al-Fishawi, one of the oldest coffee shops in Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can enjoy a refreshing cup of mint tea during your Islamic excursion in Cairo. After having breakfast at the hotel, you'll check out and be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor Attractions. Our representatives will be available to assist you with any of our Egypt Day Tours or Egypt Travel Packages. Upon arrival, you'll board the 5-star Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile cruise and have your first lunch on board. Then, you'll start your tour of the East Bank of Luxor, which includes a visit to the Karnak Temple, the largest man-made religious center in the world. Finally, you'll return to the boat.

To fully appreciate the grandeur of the magnificent Temple of Luxor, it's recommended to visit it at night when it's illuminated, serving as a reminder of the prosperity that the ancient Egyptians enjoyed 3800 years ago.

After finishing your Luxor East Bank tour, you'll be taken back to the boat for dinner.

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast on your Nile cruise ship while your Egyptologist guide takes you on a tour of the west bank of Luxor. You'll see the Colossi of Memnon, the two giant statues of Amenhotep III. Then, you'll visit the Valley of the Kings Necropolis. Your Luxor day tour will then continue with a visit to Hatshepsut Temple, also known as El Deir El Bahari, which is a testament to the first woman to hold power in Egypt. Afterward, enjoy a satisfying lunch before setting sail to Edfu for dinner and onboard entertainment. You can also choose to take the optional Luxor Hot Air Balloon ride during this time.

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast at the main dining room of your Nile cruise ship. Then, visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic-era temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed God Horus. Afterward, sail to the captivating Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile God Sobek. Enjoy your lunch onboard the ship before exploring the attractions of Aswan. Return to the ship for dinner and spend the night onboard.

After a satisfying dinner and a comfortable overnight stay on the cruise ship, you'll continue your journey and visit the Temple of Philae, which was built to honor the goddess Isis - an important deity in ancient Egyptian religion. Later, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Unfinished Obelisk. After breakfast on the Nile cruise boat in Aswan, you'll have the chance to participate in unique Aswan day tours, including a visit to the Aswan High Dam - a remarkable engineering feat that helped control the annual flooding caused by the Nile River. You can also visit the Granite Quarries, which house the Unfinished Obelisk that Queen Hatshepsut of the New Kingdom commissioned as a monument to her reign, but was never completed.

After breakfast, you'll leave your Nile cruise ship and catch a plane to Cairo. When you arrive at Cairo Airport, one of our representatives will be there to help you. You'll then have the rest of the day in Cairo to explore and enjoy as you like.

You'll spend the night in Cairo. 

After having breakfast at the hotel, you'll have some free time in the morning to relax. Later, you can decide whether you want to join one of the Cairo day tours or venture out on your own to explore the city. In the evening, you'll be transferred to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight back home.
