Itinerary

Our tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza at 8:00 am to start your half-day tour to the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx.

The Great Pyramid of Giza, the largest and oldest pyramid in the Giza pyramid complex, will be your first stop. It is also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops. Of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is the oldest and only intact survivor.

And from there, we'll head to the Pyramid of Chephren or Khafre. This pyramid, the second-highest and biggest of the three ancient Egyptian pyramids at Giza, contains the tomb of Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chefren), who reigned between 2558 and 2532 BC. The Pyramid of Mykerinus is our next destination.

We will also visit the King Chephren Valley Temple. While doing so, you could get a closer look of the Great Sphinx, a fabled protector that stands atop a vast burial complex and features the heads of kings Chephren and a lion on top of it. Visit the Giza Pyramids and have a camel ride nearby.

Next, we will visit the New Egyptian Museum, considered the world's largest cultural museum dedicated to ancient Egyptian civilization, with thousands of archaeological pieces ranging from prehistory to the end of the Roman era, including the complete treasures of Tutankhamun and the exhibition of Cheops' boat. The museum is open every day of the week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (exhibitions from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), except on Wednesdays and Saturdays, when it remains open until 10:00 p.m. and the exhibitions until 9:00 p.m.

To defend himself from Crusader soldiers, Salah al-Din built the Saladin Citadel in 1183 AD. With mosques and museums, notably the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, it is today a historically conserved neighbourhood that is famed for its clean air and expansive views of Cairo.

Lunch will be served at an Old Cairo restaurant.

The Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the first Coptic churches in Cairo, are just a few of the well-known Cairo landmarks that may be seen in Old Cairo.

One of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East is Khan el-Khalili. Learn about the confusing network of alleys that have served as Cairo's commercial hub since the 14th century.

return to your Cairo hotel, where you will spend the night.

The Bahariya Oasis is around 350 kilometres east of Cairo, and the tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Giza or Cairo and transport you there. It takes roughly four hours to go reach the White Desert and the Bahariya Oasis. At Baharyia Oasis, you'll meet your safari guide, board your 4x4 Jeep, and set out on your adventure.

Using a car, travel to the desolate desert. All of its mountains, hills, and dunes are covered with a thin layer of black powder, which gives the region its name. Lunch will be provided at the El Haize oasis, which is 37 kilometres from Bawiti. This powder coats the summits of many mountains.

You may relax before lunch and feel less tired almost soon by taking a hot spring bath. Natural muscle relaxation brought on by the heat encourages tranquilly, happiness, and peace.

You'll stop at Crystal Mountain, sometimes referred to as Gebel al-Izzaz locally, on the way back. The quartzite crystals that make up the hill, which are visible to the right, are said to give it its nickname, "the Jewel of the Desert," and its beautiful appearance when illuminated by the sun. This intrinsic trait was discovered a few decades ago.

Arrive at the Valley of Agabat, in the centre of the white desert. To really understand the place's fantastical splendour, you must be there. The region was covered by water millions of years ago. Over time, distinctive limestone rock formations have emerged. Following that, you'll experience the desert by sandboarding and exploring Wadi el Agabat in a Jeep 4x4.

The most well-known desert region in Egypt is the White Desert National Park, which we will then visit.

There are several pictures here, and all of them look like animals: camels, mushrooms, a tent, and a sphinx

then make your way back to your Cairo accommodation.

Your private tour of Alexandria from Cairo begins at 7:00 am when one of our Egyptologists picks you up from your hotel in Cairo and drives you 220 kilometers northwest to Alexandria.

Start your day excursion with the Alexandria Catacombs, which are a fantastic location. The Kom el Shoqafa catacomb, according to archaeologists, was constructed in the second century A.D. and used to house the deceased for the next 200 years. This period in Alexandria's history witnessed an amazing blending of diverse civilizations. There was, of course, the 4,000-year-old historical background of the powerful Egyptian kings.

After there, we'll move on to Pompey Pillar. The name's origin tale alludes to the potential location of the Roman general's grave who fled to Egypt and perished there after losing a significant conflict with Caesar in Greece. It's likely that the red granite column served as a tribute to Diocletian the Great. At 25 meters, it is now the highest ancient structure in Alexandria.

The Qeitbay Citadel will be the destination of our subsequent excursion. Mamlouk Sultan Qeitbay built it in the 15th century to protect the city from the danger of Crusaders. This stunning Islamic masterpiece was created using the remnants of the old Lighthouse, which Ptolemy 11 had built in the third century a.c.

Lunch is available at an Egyptian restaurant

So our next trip will be to the Library of Alexandria. To revive its illustrious heritage, it was reopened in October 2002. In addition to being a huge complex that combines the arts, history, philosophy, and science, it is a breathtakingly beautiful building. Furthermore, because of the variety of activities it provides, it has evolved into a venue for dialogue, understanding, and open discussion.

return to your hotel in Cairo and stay the night.

after breakfast, our tour leader picks you up from your Cairo hotel and checks out, then transfer you to the international Cairo airport.

The duration of a safari tour varies and depends on several factors, including the place being explored and the type of tour. Here are some pointers on the recommended duration for an enjoyable safari experience:

  1. Day tours: If you have limited time, you can choose from one-day safari tours. These tours usually include short excursions to see the animals and enjoy the scenery.

  2. Multi-day tours: If you want a deeper experience and explore more areas, multi-day tours offer more time to enjoy the wildlife and more activities.

  3. Luxury safaris: If you are planning a luxury safari, it may last for several days where luxurious accommodation is provided in private camps or lodges.

  4. Camping safaris: If you prefer camping in the desert, camping safaris can last for several days, allowing you to enjoy nature more immersively.
