The best times for a daily tour in Alexandria, Egypt, are typically during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months when the weather is more temperate. Alexandria experiences a Mediterranean climate, which means it can get quite hot and humid during the summer and relatively mild during the winter. Here are some considerations for planning a daily tour in Alexandria:

Spring (March to May): Spring is an excellent time to visit Alexandria. The weather is mild, and the city's gardens and parks are in full bloom. You can comfortably explore outdoor attractions and enjoy pleasant temperatures.

Autumn (September to November): Similar to spring, autumn offers pleasant weather for touring. It's a great time to visit historical sites, walk along the Corniche, and enjoy the city's coastal beauty.

Summer (June to August): Alexandria can be hot and humid during the summer months, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C (86°F). If you plan to visit during this time, it's best to schedule your tours for the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat of midday. Visiting indoor attractions like museums can also provide relief from the heat.

Winter (December to February): Winters in Alexandria are mild compared to many other regions, but they can still be cooler and wetter than other times of the year. If you don't mind cooler temperatures and occasional rain, you can visit during the winter months. Just be prepared for cooler evenings and pack accordingly.

Ramadan: Keep in mind that during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which follows the lunar calendar and varies each year, there may be changes in the operating hours of restaurants and some attractions. It's a good idea to check in advance and be respectful of local customs during this time.

Alexandria, with its rich history and cultural heritage, offers several popular day tours and attractions for visitors to explore. Here are some of the most popular day tours in Alexandria:

Qaitbay Citadel: Visit the historic Qaitbay Citadel, a 15th-century fortress built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Explore its architecture and enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa: Explore the underground catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which date back to the 2nd century AD. These catacombs feature a mix of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman architectural styles.

Montaza Palace: Spend time at Montaza Palace, a beautiful royal palace surrounded by extensive gardens. You can also visit the Royal Jewelry Museum nearby.

Alexandria National Museum: Discover Egypt's history through the artifacts and exhibits at the Alexandria National Museum, which showcases a wide range of artifacts from different historical eras.

Bibliotheca Alexandrina: Explore the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a tribute to the ancient Library of Alexandria. It's a center for culture, knowledge, and the arts, featuring a library, museums, and planetarium.

Corniche and Beaches: Take a leisurely walk along the Corniche, Alexandria's scenic waterfront promenade. You can also visit the city's beaches, like Stanley Beach or Mamoura Beach, for relaxation.

Pompey's Pillar: Admire Pompey's Pillar, a massive ancient column, and the Serapeum, an ancient temple dedicated to Serapis.

El-Mursi Abul Abbas Mosque: Visit El-Mursi Abul Abbas Mosque, an architectural gem with intricate Islamic designs.

Rosetta (Rashid): Explore the historic town of Rosetta (Rashid), known for its role in deciphering the Rosetta Stone.
